Florida Foot and Ankle: Mark Matey, DPM

We had a bit of trouble finding the place because the large sign over the door says Edward Jones Investments. The smaller sign for the clinic is next to the door. But service was quick and efficient, and the doctor was knowledgeable.

Didn’t enjoy my experience at this office. My interaction with Dr Matey was at max 5 minutes. He looked at my feet for less than 2 minutes, told me my legs were unequal lengths and just recommended I use $300 shoe inserts to solve the issue. Then he was gone. I reluctantly decided to purchase the inserts (which they made me pay for upfront). 2 months went by and I heard nothing. When I called to check on them, I was told they couldn’t help me and I needed to call back another day. I decided to give up and I filed a claim with my CC to get my money back. Don’t waste your time with this doctor.feel like he is just out to make money on inserts.

Dr. Matey was wonderful! If I ever have any feet issues I will definitely come back to see him. The front desk women were also very nice and friendly. Also, I was self pay and he was very reasonably priced

I took time off work and scheduled an appointment for what I thought was the atlantic location. I show up and they are closed. I called the number again and they said they were at the Bartram location. I explained the situation and they couldn't fit me in. Very disappointing that they did not confirm which of the 3 locations was open. They need to be more thorough on their calls for their patients. I will not come back here again.

Great care. Dr Matey was able to diagnose the problem I had and start a rehabilitation program the same day.
Dr Matey is an excellent podiatrist. He and his staff make you feel welcome and comfortable. Their care is excellent. I highly recommend Dr Matey for any problem with your feet.

Wonderfully individualized care. Always loads of explanation, recommendations, then the pause to see if you have any questions. Good old fashioned healer rather than the churn 'em in churn 'em out factory style becoming so common. If he needs extra time with you, he takes it. The entire office staff is wonderful. If Karen or Gretchen say they'll call you back with an answer or to schedule, they DO it. One of the best doctors in the region and it shows. Gets results!

Dr Matey takes the time to interact ask questions and use visuals. He is easy to talk to and wants to make sure he understands the problem/issue thoroughly. Very grateful that he has the ability to engage and assist whether the client is young or old.
