Florida Glass House

My husband and I had an amazing time with Thomas as he patiently and humorously walked us through the art of glassblowing. We are only in Orlando for a short vacation and are very grateful that he made time for us to experience glassblowing for the first time. With his masterful help, we were able to create a beautiful ornamental glass blown ball and a hand sculpted glass flower to cherish forever. I am a huge fan of the Netflix show “Blown Away” and my husband and I would love to see Thomas from Florida Glass House on “Blown Away” in the future! Thank you again for an incredible experience. We had such a fun experience doing an introductory workshop class. Thomas, the owner & instructor, was great and helped to make sure we created such beautiful pieces. We highly recommend and hope to return!

What a treasure! I knew NOTHING about glass except that it is beautiful. I signed up for a four week beginners evening class in stained glass and it is so very much fun! The studio is cute and easily accessible. (It doesn't hurt to be across from Santiago's Bodega!) The instructor is so encouraging and personable. I will never be a great (or even good) glass artist but you can bet I will be signing up for more classes!

Amazing, fun and great instructor! Brought a group of 11 to Florida Glass House and everyone got a chance to make an ornament or flower.amazing and beautiful. Thomas was a wonderful instructor and so engaging. We were there for 2 hours and could have packed a lunch and been there all day! If you have not.check it out and check out their store! You will love it!

The only thing greater than his knowledge of glasswork was his passion for teaching and infectious enthusiasm!
From our least confident to most confident participant he was sure to give us freedom or assistance whenever needed to maximize our comfort/enjoyment while keeping everyone safe.
This would have been a 5/5 star experience JUST for the fun of the craft, but Thomas elevated this to be a 10/5 star memory that we will never forget!

I can’t recommend this place enough. We were all beginners and Thomas was super patient and very clear with us. He made our first times stress free and made sure we did not fail because if we did he said we could just try again. Luckily, we killed it the first time haha!
His passion and dedication for glasswork is truly inspiring and I would love to come back and do this again someday. 1000000/10 without a doubt:)

They have all the glass supplies that you could want or need. Owners are super helpful. Classes are well-organized and you come out with all the skills to make a stained glass piece.

My husband and I did a date night here and had a great time! We made flowers and learned a lot along the way. Thomas is a great teacher and answered all of my questions. I'm excited to go back and make some glasses. Thank you for the great time!
