Florida Heart Associates reviews
19Have been going to Florida Heart (as did my parents) for MANY years and this recent visit in Cape Coral office seemed different - no long wait, staff pleasant, and everyone not in a rush. Never received any questionnaires in the past? New management - if so they are doing something right.
Would recommend this group. They need to get more people on the phones to make appointments. My doctor Hanlon is fantastic and caring.
The staff was great and the check out process was fast. Dr Allen exceeded my expectations during my first ever visit with him. I’m a happy patient.
The best appointment experience I've ever had at Fl heart. No waiting from the time I arrived through my testing before I met with Doctor, no waiting for Doctor, great discussion, follow up plans and schedule done quickly. Everyone friendly, caring and informative.
So caring! Always feel safe with the team who has prolonged my life. I halve great confidence in Dr. Hon and the entire team at Fl Heart!
Thank you all.
This place is a JOKE. After spending several days on hold for 30+ minutes trying to make an appointment after getting a referral from our PCP, we finally gave up. NOBODY answers the phone in this place, We also filled out the appointment request section on their website where it says we will receive a call back within 48 hours. That was 4 days ago and no call. I finally called my PCP back and asked for another referral from another cardiologist, preferably one that has somebody to answer the phone. We were told they were the best in the area and that is why they have a high patient volume, but what a disgrace it is to even try and attempt to reach them. Very poor communication from these people.
Communication is key, then follows respect and courtesy. Problems can be avoided by simply communicating with your patients concerning insurance claims, prior authorization, and appointments.
You are a team if one person fails to do these very important keys for patient care then you all fail the patient who is counting on you to provide the help that they seek.
The last key is accountability. A supervisor is the captain of the ship, if one of your mates fails to accomplish a task as a supervisor you fail.
Working in health care is much more than collecting a paycheck and insuring that you are being reimbursed for the fees of the service provided. It is about the quality of care you deliver to your patients.
With respect to that if you fail only one patient, than you have failed to deliver premium quality care. Do better, be better, and deliver patient care as the way you would want a family member to be cared for.
I will not name the names of those who treated me in the way that they did. However, I will say that I am disappointed in the manner in which my case was handled. Due to all the above reasons that I mentioned.
Dr. Fontaine is a great Dr.even though you may have to wait past your appointment time because he takes his time with each patient. He is worth it. The office staff will let you know about a wait. In this day and age a quality doctor, especially an electro physiologist cardiologist is so important. Thumbs up
I was very happy with the office staff, especially Sheila, Mary, the nurse, and Dr. Guerrero. He took the time to listen to my concerns and to examine me. This was my first appointment and everyone was extremely professional and friendly.
The doctor and nurse were great. However, anything else, the reception, billing, insurance, are absolutely a disaster. For start, the reception never answers the phone! The insurance person, Nicole, has absolutely no idea how insurance works and is very disrespectful. You cannot run a doctor’s office without good infrastructure. For a clinic that needs to take care of your heart, they only add unnecessary tension that can hurt you. I recommend to find another clinic
It was a very pleasant experience from the check in to the finish. Very friendly and accomodating as well as professional. I have already recommended this office to others.
I saw a P. A.who was very nice and really caring. She listened and advised and set up procedures needed. One thing that is hard to do at FL. Heart is actually seeing a Cardiologist in a timely manor!
Very professionally run. The nurse had accessed all my records ahead. The appointment was on time. Dr. Hanlon had an excellent grasp of my issues and I left with a plan for getting better.
Staff are always helpful and friendly. There's seldom a wait time longer than 15 minutes. Great, clean office with great staff! They put your mind at ease and will listen to and help with any concerns.
I love the folks at Florida Heart Associates. Dr. Guerrero is my cardiologist and is very personable, friendly, courteous and thorough. Melody, was my nurse and is wonderful. The reception desk was terrific as well. They all made me feel at home and confident that they will take care of me. I recommend Florida Heart Associates.
All the staff are polite, friendly and professional. Dr.explained everything she's going to do and why. Felt that I was in excellent hands.
Dr. Koran was very thorough. He knew my husband’s history from many years ago. He asked questions, explained things very well and spent time going over meds, concerns, and recommendations. Excellent experience!
Every time I have an appointment at Fl Heart Associates I get treated with the utmost respect. They treat you like family. The whole staff and all the Doctors are extremely helpful and kind.
Would give Dr Priest a TEN if available. He made my first visit relaxing,
He was caring and discussed my condition clearly.
Loss/ misfiled by administrative staff of my previously submitted records would reflect my overall grade of 4 stars.
