Florida Home-Improvement Associates / FHIA Remodeling reviews
17We met with the Project Manager, Michael Phelps. His presentation was professional and he is quite personable. We signed a contract for new Hurricane Impact doors. Mr. Phelps gave us a feeling of confidence. We used FHIA over 10 years ago for Windows and a door and were impressed then as we are today.
This company is a rip off. They came out an gave me a price of $28,000 to do 10 windows, which was too high of a price. Never received my $50.00 (fifty dollars) either. Call Florida Windows and Doors and the price was lest than half of what this company wanted to charge. Which I could give them a minus 10.
Crooks. Gave us an estimate of almost $2,000 a window. Comparable windows are about $300.00 each. BEWARE!
Today we had appointment with FHIA and Michael & GianCarlo came out, gave us many options, let us choose which products to use, and helped us with financing.
Mike was very personable. He did a detailed demonstration and carefully explained the difference in materials. Also took time to explain the options for financing.
Never call FHIA! We thought about getting a quote but decided not to and they will not stop calling me. Its been going on for the past year and every time I tell them to stop calling, they say they make a note in the system, and then I hear from them in a few weeks. I have no time to write this review but I'm putting my work on hold because they just called me back to back with mayne 5 minutes in between calls. I'm confident that I'll never get rid of them but I'd like to save whoever I can.
Stacy, in sales was so sweet and honest with us. The process of buying the windows was smooth and quick!
We had great installers. They were very personable and trustworthy.
The entire process from sales to installation was great. We absolutely love our windows. We would highly recommend this company!
Such as an amazing experience with professional people.in touch with me every step of the way.it’s a messy job but the crew did an amazing job trying their best to keep things clean.the quality of the product is unmatched.the foreman came numerous times to make sure things were going smooth. I recommend this company and their installation crew
So very pleased.
In had my roof installed by these guys last December Alex Neihoff and Fabricia were out and did great. The installationbwas fast and they did a great job. Today I'm getting windows from Alex. ASK FOR ALEX NEIHOFF when u call to make appt
Very pleased with the co and the workers who lnstalled the windows leo and his partner dod a steller job also alex was most helpful and explaned everything in detail
The salesman was very friendly and honest. (Paul Pemberton) The day of the installation came and those guys did an amazing job. The work was completed in about 7 hours total. My house is soooo quiet now. The windows dramatically muffle sound from the outside and now the AC cools the house a lot quicker. We're really happy with our windows and door.
Alexander, the field supervisor, stopped by and explained everything to us about our financing and New windows (which are STUNNING) and made us feel like their customer service was above and beyond!
Great experience, I would recommend and use them again. Install tmanager Robert was extremely helpful and informative. Glad I went with this company for my project
Hi everyone I’m happy to say that I’m putting hurricane impact windows through through this fabulous company FHIA. I have field supervisor Renso and these awesome workers along with him doing the hard work to get me protected
The work was completed in one day and Jim the job Forman was over the top helpful
This is my second impact window installation by this company
Mr. Jose Mejia came to our house and gave us a very good presentation that encouraged us to do the job with them. We are hoping that we have made a good decision in signing the contract with them and that the job they do is what we are expecting.
Called FHIA to have three doors replaced with hurricane impact doors. I only needed three doors because I had the windows replaced last summer (different company (FB Doors) but that installation was a nightmare, so I was looking to get another company to do it. When I first called I got disconnected after I explained to the girl I was looking to get an estimate for three doors. I just assumed I was accidentally disconnected, but now believe it was intentional (will come back to this at the end).
Called back and talked with another girl who asked me a bunch of questions that really weren't relevant. I understand asking if there is someone else that might want to participate in the decision (so to schedule when all parties are available), but once I answered no to that question, the irrelevant questions kept coming (am I the only owner (yes), are you married or single.etc) (by the way, this would have been a cash deal, no financing, so none of these questions were pertinent to the sale, much less to making an appt). Scheduled an appt for 10 a.m. The next day and the girl says she's transferring me to Scheduling to confirm the appt. Okay. Some guy with Scheduling gets on the phone and asks the number of doors in the order. Of course I've already given this information to the girl who made the appt. Once I explain three doors total, he says "oh sorry, we have a minumum size order, you'll need to add a couple of windows. I've already told the girl what the order was for, even had to clarify that one of the doors was not a garage door (only a garage entry door). So thanks for wasting my time.
Back to girl #1. The disconnection happened immediately after I told her I needed to order three doors. Pretty sure she didn't want to waste her time with it, so decided to just disconnect me.
