2My son just started at FIU nursing program after finishing his AA at Miami-Dade. He had a choice to stay on at Miami-Dade for his Bachelor's vs. FIU. Miami-Dade is 10 minutes away from the house and FIU is 45 minutes away. He decided to go to FIU and he is very happy. He has nothing but good things to say and how much more challenging it is. He is happy about that because his goals are to get his Bachelor's degree, work as a nurse for a year, and then he wants to work part-time and work towards becoming a physician assistant. I want to thank FIU for its job helping millions of people obtain their dreams. I have lived in Miami-Dade for 62 years. When I graduated from Palmetto Senior High School in 1979, FIU was the college to go to back then, and I'm so proud of my son that he chose FIU.
Not enough parking, it’s ridiculous! The parking office loves to fine students who can’t find parking anywhere.
