I am an RN and I have followed Dr Alvarez 's accomplishments since 2005. He did a total anterior hip replacement on my left hip about 6 years ago and I returned to work exactly 2 weeks from my surgery, without restrictions. He just did a revision of a 19 year old hip prosthesis, which had dislocated 4 times and he also corrected my balance. I had NO post op pain whatsoever and returned to work with NO restrictions exactly 2 weeks later. If you want perfection, knowledgeable and proficient results, being part of the medical profession myself, then Dr Alveraz should be your choice. FYI.his wife is a total Sweetheart! Thank you both for caring for me as a person, not just a patient.

I was having hip pain and called the office. I was given an appointment the very next day. X-rays of my hips were taken and Dr. Alvarez explained the findings carefully. He suggested PT which is what I am doing now. I have a follow up appointment set up. Dr Alvarez and his team are wonderful. He replaced my left knee 5 months ago, and I have healed very well. Before procedure I attended a seminar at the hospital to make me aware what to expect during and after surgery. The presenters were very professional and made me feel at ease.
