Poor service on prescription refill.
1. Pharmacy attempted. Failed to refill
2. Called the office and they informed that the will send. But No luck
3. Called again next day [Friday]. Again they said the same answer.
4. Monday I called. They said the the same answer & I want to talk to the higher official. They keep me on hold for 5 min & hanged the phone.

This place is extremely unprofessional and disorganized and they seem to repeat the same errors across multiple patients.there is no communication between any of the staff, and they are quick to send bills and overcharge, but when it comes to getting necessary medication that’s a different story.if you have a lot of time to waste and money to blow, this is a great place for you!

Love my Dr and my ARNP. They are the best. The office and their policies, not patient friendly or patient accessible. I called and asked to speak with my Dr’s MA. I was told she wasn’t available at that time. I asked to pass my message to any of my health care providers. I had just received my lab results on Friday and knew my dr will have to change the dosage on one of my meds. I asked to please look at it and change it since I only had enough pills until Monday and my appointment was on Thursday. I did not want to refill a Med to discard it 3 days later. I was told no. I needed to be seeing so they can bill the insurance. I told the lady I was being seeing in 3 days. Still the answer was no. Even though she was legally correct, she made me feel that money comes first and that is their #1 priority.
I don’t want a response, an I’m sorry or a call back. I understand you are not a non profit organization, but you are a health care company.

Upon arrival i overheard a kelli Anzalone, ARNP, discussing with the office manager that she was working til 5 pm on telemedicine and she needed to have a conversation with a particular patient because the mri came in and it wasn't good. Shortly thereafter we, my 2 kids and I, were escorted to our room. We waited in the room for over 40 minutes and after asking why the Kelli was so delayed, it took another 5 mins for the her to come in. She offered an apology and i pointed out the double standard. We get charge of we're late or don't show and her apology is unacceptable. She then began the physicals for both my kids and when it came time to examine their "private parts" i asked my daughter to step out when it got to that point. For my daughters exam kelli performed the examination with my son in the room. To say she was embarrassed is an understatement. I jumped up and stood infront of my son in an attempt to provide my daughter some privacy but he was still able to hear what kelli was saying to her. Who does that? Later, when i asked her where i needed to take my son for xray she recommended, she said i would get it at check out. At check out i was told we were all set to go. I asked for the xray info and was told there was no notes indicating we needed that information. Kelli hadn't entered that information and had to be asked by the office staff to do so.
Kelli is the most unprofessional individual I've ever encountered and I will never return to this office. Im so angry we were treated like a number and expected to feel grateful to even be seen.
Complete lack of appreciation of my time. Completely unprofessional exam of my daughter's private parts with her brother in the room. Completely unprofessional discussing any patients medical results with the office manager in the office. Completely incompetent in filing out my son's chart. As I sit and write this I'm horrified my children had to experience this and I'm so angry!

Doctor was thorough, caring and professional. I was seen quickly and everyone greeted me with a smile.

My husband is on a medication that is controlled- which means that the Rx is physically written -not called in each time for a refill. When I received a phone call that the Rx is ready I let the front desk person know I was the one picking up the Rx. When I got there I was told that it can only be given to my husband because they needed paperwork signed. This has happened 2 times now. No apology for lack of organization.

Average wait time of 30-40 minutes, but if you are 10 minutes late, you wait 25 minutes to be told you have to reschedule. Didn’t even mention it at check in, or when I paid my co pay, but after sitting for 25 minutes, call me up to let me know I have to reschedule. Doctors are very good, but be be prepared to sacrifice a lot of time and be treated like you don’t matter.

I'm honestly stunned by all the negative reviews, and it makes me wonder if they are even truthful or how those writing the reviews behaved while in the office. I'm originally from NJ (just outside NYC) and therefore know very good (and bad) medical treatment when I see it. I love my care team here. Jennifer Boatwright is so awesome, she really listens and understands. She is so excited by my success so far on Weight Watchers. As for the review mentioning a supposed failure of her not providing Anti-Depressants.she will tell you she feels it's better that a Psychiatrist write prescriptions for those medications. She doesn't hide that fact. However, because I have been on Anti-Depressants/Anti Anxiety Meds for over 20 years, she will write/refill mine. We have an understanding that if I feel I need my meds changed, I will need to see a Psychiatrist. She has never refused to call in refills for me. I had an issue last year with getting a medication refilled. WalMart said it would take over a week to get it in (it's a Beta Blocker so I can't be without it), CVS, Walgreens and Publix all said they no longer carried the version Jennifer wrote my script for. I called the office and left a message with someone. 20 minutes later they called back and said "Jennifer called over to WalMart to see which Inderal they had in stock. They told her, she changed the script with them and it should be ready for you in a few hours. " Chad White who draws your bloodwork is the only person I will let draw my blood if I can help it. You don't even know he's done anything until he says "Ok you're done" I had to go elsewhere for bloodwork (for a different doctor) once.that tech acutally did such a terrible job, I bled through the bandaid and gauze. Next time I saw Chad I told him, and he said to me "That should never ever happen. " I see Dr Frank for my IBS, and I love him too. He refused to give up until he figured out what medicine would keep my IBS in check. Plus I love that he and I have the same sense of humor.

I’ve had only great experiences with Dr Cozzolino, the staff, and phlebotomists. That’s where my family goes!

It is taking forever for the office to correct a billing error. They sent the wrong codes for annual bloodwork and now I'm being hounded by diagnostics to pay 146 dollars that the insurance will cover, with correct codes. But the office isn't sending over the correct codes. Not to mention they still have not responded to a fax for referral authorization so insurance will pay for my MRI. When I call the office to speak to someone about this they were horribly rude! I miss dr. Tedesco and his staff. I was with him for 15 years and never experienced this nonsense. Fix this issue ASAP. This billing issue has been pending for 4 months. About to get BBB involved.

This is by far the worst Dr and office staff I have ever seen. My pulmonologist and cardiologist are great. Have had both for many years. When Dr Tedesco retired the entire office and staff went to Hell. Either they have no idea what’s they are doing or just don’t care. Every time I go in there, I have nothing but
problems. I use Humana online to fill my prescriptions, Humana and I have to call 2-3 times to get a prescription filled. From what the staff told me is they put the request on his desk and that is exactly where it sits. I have since changed my primary care doctor. I will never go back there again and I would advice you to run as fast as you can to a new doctor
I cant believe Florida Medical Clinic has done nothing about it. It just continuously worse and worse.
Come on FMC do something about this problem, don’t just let it go on and on.

I am under a budget as a single father and back in June I told them up front that I could only receive services that my insurance would cover. They billed my insurance one time with incorrect codes for a basic Physical and I am having to pay over $200.00 plus $55 CP. I was Billed a month later.
Then they canceled an appointment today after making it for my Son who is having severe dizzy spells. They are claiming that he miss a "new patient appoint" back in June which we know nothing about. BS!
I will never return to FL MED Clinic even if I'm dying. The Medical industry and insurance compànies are all in this Sceam together. They force people into wanting the crooked Gov to control it all.
Sad very sad!

Beware! The billing department will upcharge you by over-coding procedures that did not actually happen. They will tell you things are covered and then send you a bill. When I called to resolve they admitted to charging incorrect codes but were unable to adjust the bill. My regular wellness visit was charged as a “ill patient code” I’m 25 and healthy. They called me in to discuss my alarming blood-work which turned out to be normal so they could charge me for an extra visit. I’ve never been charged and not had it covered to go in and talk about normal blood results. The doctors and nurses were great but it’s so sad to see them trying to get extra money. I would gladly pay what was actually discussed and done at my visits. I really hope they don’t do this on bigger procedures but my guess is from the empathetic “it’s a Florida thing” response I got, this is happening all the time. I called for help in paying the bill and they said they would send information to fill out. Never happened.

The staff is completely scattered with no semblance of organization. When calling to confirm an appointment date, received ambiguous information, was assured a phone call reminder that never occurred and was charged a no show fee for an appointment I tried to confirm with the staff prior to the appointment date. Completely unorganized and unapologetic. Also the wait time on the phone is ridiculous.

Phone receptionist for primary care appointments was rude and showed no empathy and laughed in my face when I called the wrong office. She saw in her system that I didn't have a primary there since 2007 and said "no matter where you go you'll be new, so what do you want? ". I have a hard time understanding how it is going to take 3+ months for me to be seen just to do general blood work. Not that it matters to this company, but I will be going somewhere else where they value the well being of their patients and they don't laugh in their face putting them down when they are just trying to fix their lives.

The worst excuse for medical treatment I have ever encountered. Having moved here from the west coast the doctor falsified my medical documents refused to fill the majority of my long term meds which in one instance has resulted in major withdrawals from gabapentin and duloxetine for my neuropathy. It is never recommend to go cold Turkey from the Gabapentin and while waiting to see another doctor. I would not take a wounded dog here. Plus the office manager suggested I was a liar and hung up on me and the main office is unresponsive to a complaint.

These reviews are not lying! The staff here and throughout Florida medical clinics in general are just AWFUL! Super high staff turn over. Good luck getting an appointment that is less than a month away. No care or concern for their patients. It's really sad!

Ladies and gentlemen please think twice before putting your health on these Nurse Practioners, Specially Jennifer Botwright.
Do your research people, all they want is money. Not all of them are bad, but she’s the worse. Dr. Mardo and Miss. Nieves are very professional and they care about the patients. So.
I been asthmatic since I was born and depend on my meds for when I get my episodes and my doctor’s office knows that. So I called in 2 days ago to request a refill cause I noticed I was running low on the Albuterol solution and I forgot to mention it when I was in the office on Friday, and whoever took my call said that they will call it in. Last night was horrible so this morning I told my neighbor if she didn’t mind getting my prescription cause I couldn’t breath and I was on my last carpule, she went and they didn’t have it. So I called the office and the receptionist had me waiting forever to come and tell me per Jennifer: “You would have to make an appointment to see her cause is been a while since they prescribed those meds. ”
Mind you, they know my condition and they HAVE to know I depend on it. (While I’m literally gasping for air as I was loosing my patience and my character on the phone. Telling me that I was there on Friday and never mentioned it, maybe just because I was not planning on getting sick (u moron) plus I honestly forgot cause I went to deal with another health issue.
I have the flu as well and explained I didn’t have no ride or money to be taking a ride and who in the world wants to get out sick with asthma and flu with this weather. She still insisted that I needed to go and see JENNIFER just to give me the script. Let me tell ya, ever since my mother passed away I been suffering from severe depression and anxiety and I was prescribed Xanax for maybe 3 years, I only use them to sleep cause honestly I can’t, plus now I’m dealing with many other crisis in my life and I took my pill as needed. A bottle could last me up to 3-6 months, sometimes longer and JENNIFER knows that.
I (myself) made the decision of stop taking them, but after maybe 2 years now I feel the need to get them cause I sleep 3 hours every night and I feel exhausted. Jennifer insisted for me to start in Zoloft, which I did and it was horrible so I brought up to her on Friday, I also told her that my chest and my head been hurting, that I didn’t know if it was my heart or my anxiety. I told her that my sister takes Klonopin and that she gave me some in 2 different occasions when I was reaching into a panic attack and they helped me so much, I slept really good and the next day I feel relaxed and no drowsy like with the Xanax. I literally begged Jennifer to please let me get some at least to get through the weekend cause I didn’t sleep in days and I was exhausted, she refused and put me on Fluoxetine and referred me to a Psychiatrist. Oh, let me not forget to tell you that I was taken a EKG in the office and it came out abnormal cause according to Jennifer it showed that at one point “I was not getting any oxygen to my heart”. She told me if I keep feeling bad to go to the ER, which I ended up doing later on that day cause I was not doing good. Thank God everything was okay, it was my anxiety and overwhelming stress. The Doctor in charge felt compassionate and sent me home with a Prescription for Klonopin with 5 pills enough to allowed me to sleep through the weekend and be ready back again for my grandkids that I take care frm Sunday- Wednesday. I still got 3 pills left. I understand the precautions they have to take for Narcotics, but she got my medical records, I’m not an addict. About today and refusing calling in a very essential meds that I depend on, was completely unacceptable and I’m going to talk to a lawyer to see if that is even legal. I do know for sure that If something happens to me (God forbid) I’m going to make sure she doesn’t practice medicine no more. Meanwhile I’m going to make sure patients get alert through the social media and know about her negligence. Have a bless day!

Doc seemed great, policies and office not so much. I went in for a physical (covered 100% by Aetna). I casually mentioned to him that my ear was bothering me as he checked them during the physical. He didn't treat my ear or prescribe anything. Fast forward to a few weeks ago. I get a bill for $199. I call the office, they tell me it's because I told the doc my ear hurt, which isn't included in my physical. I've tried reaching the office manager, Kathy, now for 10 days. I've called nearly every day. She hasn't called me back. I doubt I'll be seeing them again. It appears this office is all about the money, and not about wellness.

Wait times are absolutely deplorable. I understand sometimes the clinic may be busy (however, there were only about 3 other people while I was there), but time is the most important thing in life and I’ve wasted mine coming here.
