Florida Medical Clinic - Multi Specialty Campus

I love Florida Medical Clinic, I've been coming here for years. Initially, I was only seeing Malibiran but within the last year or so I've begun seeing Nikki, whom I absolutely adore. The wait times can be a little long but more often than not, it's out of the practitioners hands. Nikki always takes the time to really listen to me and my concerns and you can tell she truly cares. I can say the same for Dr. Malibiran. I've also gotten blood work and imaging done at this facility and it has always been a quick, clean, and easy experience. I would happily recommend this practice to any of my family or friends.

Florida Medical -especially the Brandon location - please do not choose this place for your medial needs. They make you wait for 90 minutes or more to be called back to an exam room then wait another 30-45 minutes never knowing if a doc will show up or not. They don’t address your concerns. The waiting room is filthy. There’s a receptionist there- very heavyset -that is rude and obnoxious to patients. She should never be allowed to work in a public setting. I think she’s related to Milibarian since she gets away with treating people like she does. Speaking of doc M.he won’t address your concerns. You’re just a number and a money grab to him. They ask me to have blood work done but they never call with results. It’s happened twice in one year. They laughed about it. Thought it was funny. One just said “ oops my bad” but they didn't mind TRYING to get the money out of me. Yeah that’s never gonna happen. Then the final straw came when my mammogram results never came either. The nasty receptionist mentioned above, when I FINALLY wasted a trip to see why no one told me those results, laughed and said “ oh probably just got left in the fax machine and probably got thrown away. They play fast and loose with important things. If you’re looking for a doctor - go to Advent Health. They’re much more compassionate and way more understanding. To be honest, I’d be afraid to pick a doctor from Florida Medical Clinic. They have no clue what they’re doing and it could harm you. PLEASE please choose some where other than Florida Medical Clinic. It’s really not safe there.

I wish I had taken a look at the reviews before I went to the Florida Medical Clinic. I was referred to the Florida Medical Clinic by my cardiologist and when I see him next I'll be sure to rip him a new one for recommending this practice to me. The "specialist" I saw was not professional, was not prepared to see me, in fact had no idea about me or my condition when she initially walked in the room. 2 minutes in and she had to excuse herself and go get my record and was literally reading my information as she came back into the room. It was almost impossible to have a meaningful conversation with her as she kept flipping back and forth through my record, and after just a few minutes she kept trying to get up and leave, I had to insist she stay. She literally answered some of my questions while standing at the door, trying to leave. Terrible experience and DO NOT recommend

Very nice place, friendly staff! They take time with the patients. You can tell they care and want you to feel better.

I don’t recommend going to the Florida Medical clinic Brandon location. I had an appointment for an ultrasound which requires fasting and it had to be performed in the morning. I went there and checked in and waited for more than 1 hour and 30 min. I had previously asked if I was waiting in the right place or had to go to a different suite, and the 2 front desk ladies told me to wait there. After waiting and waiting I told them I had to leave soon and when they finally checked my appointment, they realized they checked in the wrong patient and they were never going to call me to let me know. On top of that, I couldn’t have the test done because it was already noon and the test couldn’t be conducted in the afternoon. They never apologized or tried to fix their mistake.

I’ve had the worst experiences with the doctors and office staff. The clinic charges my insurance $450.dollars for a 5-10 minute visit. They have no accountability regarding client health care. Rather than listen to your description of an issue, they are putting pen to paper writing a prescription. I do most of the footwork with the pharmacy and insurance contacts for approval. I’m presently researching better health care somewhere else.

I hate having to leave a 1 star review but people need to know! YOU have options Go somewhere else. They literally don’t care about you or your situation. I had to wait 2 months out for appointment. They call you the morning of and say DR. Not available, then have to reschedule and wait another 2 months out. Twice this has happened. Horrible scheduling and management for inconvenience they cause to patients who take off from work to schedule these appointments.

Dr. Malibirian is amazing. He really takes his time to listen to our concerns. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the offices do not accept faxed medication requests from the pharmacy. You have to call the offices directly.

This place is a joke.they either never answer their phone or when they answer, they put you on hold forever. I had to physically go to the location to make an appointment to get blood work done. Once my appointment was set I arrived in the morning for blood work that I was fasting for for whatever reason when the blood work came back, It was posted that it was in the afternoon so now my results have to be redone.waste of time, so frustrating

I’ve been a patient of Dr Cody since 2017, I waited a month for my appt that was cancelled by them 3 hours before time because I saw a bariatric surgeon 2 years ago. Apparently if you see other doctors they cancel you as a patient. He doesn’t offer bariatric surgery, or dentistry, or breast implants but he expected me not to see other doctors for those? !? !

My son was treated in this clinic for an infection 3/27/2023 and he had a small surgery and today he is back to work without any iflamation, fever, tenderness and hurinatting normal again. The staff and doctors were ver profetional and caring but the most important thing is that they took their time to treat the infection very seriously and they make sure that the infection didn't spread. They did a check to all his internal organs. I thank you very much to all these heroes that took good care of him. I love to see my son smiling and working again. I dont know how there are so many people giving this clinic bad reviews for things that are not important. I highly recomend PHR Florida. Thank youGood job

Horrific answering service. Have been a patient for a few years and am fed up with it. Nice Doctor and staff but calling for a refill or to schedule an appointment, or any question in general takes an hour+ each time. I'm going elsewhere.

I love my doctor but his office has no care of anyone’s time. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment with the NP, sat 40 in the waiting room, 20 minutes in the exam room, NP finally came in, had a 1 minute conversation and left. For RX refills, why not have something established just for that! Ridiculous I should be waiting over an hour for 1 minute of time with the NP!

Went for annual physical and lab work. I was called at scheduled time for physical and had to wait just a few minutes to have lab work completed that was unscheduled. Overall everything went smoothly and I appreciate having lab facility in the same office so that I could get it all done in the same location.
