Such a great experience with this company! Will definitely use them when I renew my license. The staff was very responsive and friendly.

This place took $100 from me for what I thought was a loan signing agent certificate. It does not come with a test it does not come with a background check it does not come with a database to help you find work. This is just a legal loophole way to take people’s money. I literally have to pay a TRUSTWORTHY company all over again to assist me.

Stay away from this company and go with National Notary Association. I purchased a Notary Signing Certification from Florida Notary for $99. I now need a background check. NNA has a package deal that includes the Signing Certification and Background Check. They also provide a NNA Certification which most notary employer's request.

Purchased the $99 signing agent course, found out later I'd also need a background check. Customer service agent says she tells people to go to the PD. I could be wrong but I don't think the local PD background check meets the requirement. Maybe this is why I had to answer those weird questions asking if Im sure/aware of what Im purchasing. They probably get refund requests because it's usually better to purchase the course with the background check.

UPDATE after speaking with Derek - while I appreciate his call, nothing has changed. I did receive part of what I ordered. My notary stamp arrived broken due to the way it was mailed. I had to glue it together. My notary cert was not included, nor was the bond info. I've been a notary for over 40 years and never had to deal with this on renewal. I would absolutely not use this company again. Sorry, Derek. Not a fan. After doing some checking, I guess I'm not the only one whose application was "not received". They had a payment but no application and didn't think it was strange? Had to resend everything, called to confirm receipt and told a couple of weeks. Now, a month later, they "don't know when it will be shipped". Seriously? My commission expires in 2 weeks (started the renewal in early March for end of May) and I've no idea if my renewal will be processed. I've been a notary for almost 40 years and never had this issue before. Definitely will be going back to my former notary service company for the next renewal!

Called about the Veteran’s discount according to the Florida statutes, “ However no commission fee shall be required for the issuance of a commission as a notary public to a veteran who served during a period of wartime service, as defined in s. 1.01 (14),

and they refused to help me out with that discount even after discussing how I can provide them with my DD214 or orders to prove so.

Maybe i’m wrong but it definitely drove me away from this company!

My daughter was getting married and her Pastor became ill the week of the wedding. FNS was able to get me educated, bond and commissioned as a notary in 5 days time. Love them!

Amazing customer service through live chat, and over the phone very helpful. Also, the application is simple and they help you out regarding any questions. Very satisfied with this business. I'm just waiting to receive my stamp in the mail.
I do recommend this office 100%.

I am a bit discouraged with the customer service. First packet sent some how was never received. Second packet sent< I required signature confirmation. Although, the state office completed all of my documents on August 25th, they reported an update on the 27th. It is now the 17th of September and I have been given 3 different dates of the expected time of delivery for my stamp. Giving 2 stars.

***EDIT/UPDATE*** I initially wrote a poor review on this company due to frustrations that stemmed from an interaction with a customer service representative that fell short on my expectations as a paying customer. When it came to the attention of the Vice President of the company, he IMMEDIATELY rectified the situation. In business, the ball is dropped from time to time and how you pick it up and play from that point forward makes the difference.

My review is based off of my experience with Florida Notary service so far. I completed my application and course through them and mailed everything in. It was extremely easy and straight forward. I clicked on the chat feature to check that my forms were received, and someone responded immediately. I am now waiting for my application to be approved by the state and to receive my seal. So far, I would highly recommend FNS for those trying to get their notary paperwork taken care of.

This is based off of TRYING to fill out the application and check out online. Their website and customer service is terrible. E-mail support didn't bother to read my e-mail and live chat disconnected for lunch along with the whole transcript. First attempt checking out, their glitchy cart kept adding E&O insurance for $40 and had no way to remove it. I followed the directions from live chat, but it added $160 to my cart and she told me to restart the application with a new password. She gave me a coupon (not specifying the amount). I already had a coupon for $10. I get to the end again and try to use the coupon, but it was only $5, so then I try the coupon given to me by sales for $10, but it only takes $5 off in the cart. I ask live chat, but we disconnect, then I e-mail and he sends the same code, not helping at all. I will definitely be trying to use another provider!
