Florida Oasis Residential Mental Health

Thanks for getting me addicted to benzos when I went in for depression. In addition, I appreciate you sending a lawyer after me to collect a debt you never made me aware of while I was there. I should have trusted the reviews. The 5 star reviews are given by patients who are told to sit down and write before they are discharged. I was threatened to be held for an extra 3 days if I didn't write a review. Here's your review.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, was nervous since this was my first time doing in patient, actually any mental health related at all. The staff were amazingly friendly and the small number of patients resulted in an unbeatable sense of community that greatly helped the treatment process.

Florida Oasis was a God send for my loved one. Other facilities were quick to move her on her way because of some particularly challenging issues. Florida Oasis stuck with her and provided her with a new start on life. My loved one felt safe and well cared for. We highly recommend Florida Oasis!

It was not easy finding a residential facility that specializes in mental health rather than addiction. The mental health focus along with the great reviews prompted me to try Oasis for a loved one. That loved one of mine always got better in treatment at Oasis.

Tyler, my point of contact, is a pleasure to deal with. He always gets back to me right away and is very empathetic and accommodating. All of the other staff members I have dealt with at Oasis have been great too, including Michael and others.

The knowledgeable staff, helpful doctors, and caring nurses made me feel safe here when I couldn't feel safe anywhere.

My medication was adjusted in a prompt, responsive way that made me feel heard rather than ignored. I was asked about side effects and medications with no benefit were removed from my care plan.

The focus on restoring agency and giving me back control of my life was critical to my care. I felt like I was an active part of my treatment. The program, intensive groups, lots of 1-on-1 care, and helping me get the additional targeted care for my PTSD was nothing short of a miracle for me.

I came in not knowing what to expect from any residential facility; I am leaving with a new appreciation for the work both patients and staff put in to get people back on their feet and transitioned to their next stage of care.

I can’t say enough about this place. My stay was absolutely fantastic. ALL of the staff were extremely friendly - from the owners to the clinicians to the nurses and the day and night staff people. They care about the patients and their well being. It’s a small facility which allows them to focus on each patients needs. I would definitely send anyone who had mental health problems to this facility since it is geared towards mental health issues rather than most facilities which include substance abuse. 5 stars for Florida Oasis!

Just can not say enough great things about this facility. I have a loved one that has been struggling for quite some time. We had tried numerous facilities to no avail. Finding the Oasis has been a Godsend. Jonathan, Scott and Tyler are the most compassionate, personal and professional people we have had the pleasure of meeting. They go FAR beyond the call and have been like members of the family to us. I can not stress strongly enough how absolutely fantastic the Oasis Staff has been. If you or a loved one who is struggling with a mental health issue, this is “THE” Place to go.
They work hand in hand with the family and patient and have been there for us “EVERY” step of the way. After 2 years of frustration, we now have hope and light at the end of the tunnel. Thank You from the bottom of our hearts for all you have done and continue to do to help our family member. Words can not describe how grateful we are.

I've been to a lot of treatment centers, and i have to say that this one is definitely one of the best.the staff are not just here for a paycheck, they genuinely care.there are 6 groups a day, so you'll definitely be getting a good amount of therapy.i've been admitted here twice, and i was treated with respect and compassion both times.i wanna give the tech, caitlin, a shoutout on here.she's one of the best techs here.she helped me so much when i was struggling and she cares.if you're looking for a good and beneficial mental health treatment center, this is it.out of both times that i've been here, i have grown so much, and you can, too.

Not the best but definitely not the worst.there are some really great people here and they will do their best to help you.i didn’t mesh well with my first therapist so they allowed me to switch, but when i had problems with meds it wasn’t resolved until three weeks later, in those three weeks i feel i missed a lot of potential opportunities that could have made this experience more beneficial.overall i had a decently good experience here.some of the techs and nurses really helped with that, caitlin, emily, and shea were absolutely great and would talk things out casually, they felt more like friends than a therapist.

This place is freakin awesome
From the moment I walked in I was greeted with love and kindness the staff was so welcoming! I was treated with so much respect I felt like I was heard and acknowledged! Here you are never treated like just another patient. It feels like family where everyone truly and deeply cares about you. I just felt like I was finally in the right place and hell yea I was! I cannot thank the staff enough they always listened to me and gave me time and the space to just be my authentic me! I will always be grateful the all of them!

The Florida Oasis team taught me the coping skills I needed to deal with the deepest, darkest depression of my life. The therapists are extremely knowledgeable and caring. All of the staff are warm and welcoming. I will be forever grateful to the entire staff at The Oasis. Nurse Sharon is awesome.

When I walked into Florida oasis I was scared and was thinking to myself how can this place change me I have been trough residential treatment like 9 times but this was no experience even similar to any other place I have been to so many places that have great names that people come to from all over the world and they’re not even close enough to my experience at Florida oasis it’s like a comfy home where you laugh cry and heal the therapist are really professional and caring they are like family to me with an open door policy there is always a therapist to talk to in hard times the owners are not like any others they care about the healing process and not the money process they will do what ever needs to be done so I always felt like I am home they even helped me with great kosher food I came out a whole new person the person that I never knew I am I have gotten my voice back after so many years and trying so many different treatment centers there is only 9 beds and they keep the environment great they are equipped with great gaming systems so you can take a break from the hard therapy when you need to I am just so grateful that I came to this place Tyler and Christie are amazing people Jonathan and Scott are there standing beside me motivating me to be me and all the other therapists that run group are full of great knowledge and skills that I will take with me for the rest of my new life I’m thankful for each and everyone at Florida Oasis’s you are my best friend family and my heroes thanks for helping me get my life back

I have been here for 5 weeks, it was the best decision I ever made. From the minute I walked in the door I knew I was safe. Everyone here from the techs, the nurses, the therapists and owners truly care. The community was amazing, no one judges you and lets you know they truly care. The size of the house was perfect and the fact that they only focus on mental health truly made a difference. Florida Oasis saved my life and for that I am forever grateful.

If you are looking for a loving caring environment in which to work on yourself and your issues you will find it at Florida Oasis. The staff cares deeply for each resident and are passionate in what they do. It is small and intimate as they only take nine at a time it very much feels like a family atmosphere. They have an open door policy so if you need to speak with someone they make themselves available. You get two sessions a week with your individual therapist and there are six groups a day with an hour in between each group. Weekends are lower key gives you an opportunity to rest up, play games, do art therapy, creative writing and watch a movie. I entered the facility one way and came out a month later a different person a better version of myself. I am grateful.

The time that I spent at Florida Oasis was the most helpful mental healthcare I have ever received. The staff was kind and caring and cultivated a comforting, welcoming environment. I cannot recommend this place enough if you are looking for somewhere to heal.
