Florida Tech Panther Dining Hall

Like most fast food resturant, Florida Tech Dining Hall is more about quantity over quality with most of the foods. I can understand the fact of serving over thousands of students during peak hours, but the quality of the foods just goes down.

Sometimes, they will serve a good breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and other times, they will "serve" this: (probably add more concerning photos in the future)

The salad bar is a bit concering with the dressings being mixed with each other because of students mistakes and the greens that they put out to eat is already brown.

Also, the grill area is a great example of the "quantity over quality" by the fact that in non-peak hours, a chef (disclosing their apperance) will sometimes forget my orders and give the people behind me their orders first. I can understand the forgetness but I been waiting more than 15 minutes. (Students will "steal" your food if you don't come back in time for it if the student and you order the same thing.)

(But I will say that it is very frustaing that in the beginning of the school year, they made the best tasting cheesy grits EVER with shrimp. NOW ITS SO BAD THAT I CANT EVEN EAT IT LIKE OH MY GOD. AND THEY DID IT THREE TIMES IN A ROW)

Love PDH! The service is outstanding and there are so many delicious vegetarian choices! Today I had tofu coconut curry with teriyaki vegan chicken tenders, and a spring roll, with a Blondie for dessert! Always a treat to visit my kid at FIT and enjoy a delicious meal! Hopefully other colleges will take note! Healthy meals make for smart kids!

Love this place, staff is always so nice and iconic, Mike and Willie and the front to greet you, Ms Bella asking “How are you” every time she sees me and Reggie grillin some of the best burgers in town, 5 stars all around

Excellent dining hall with great food and many different options. The international dishes add even more variety. The made to order options could be a little more efficient though.

Great selection of interesting international foods. Clean, inviting, friendly, comfortable space. Had a great meal!

The only good things they have are rarely there. Food always has hair in it and the meats are often undercooked. A lot of my friends have gotten food poisoning from here and so have I. Their breakfast is the only good thing.

Not really good for quality since it's cafeteria food. But not bad for a school dining hall buffet. They pretty much come with the same food every week.

It is a college cafeteria. The food is superb for the massive amounts of people they serve. The staff is amazing and always willing to help.

Suggest you do not get the cafeteria meal plan if you think of coming here. They change their primary meal every night, with some things offered each night such as roasted chicken and some sort of potatoes. But unless u enjoy eating the same thing everyday, you should be warned that their evening meals are trash. Their lunches are ok as they change up alot and arnt things children eat. But beware, you will pay for meals like, grilled cheese, hot dogs, taco meat (taco bell quality), tater tots (yes they seriously make just tater tots as a primary meal). They used to have decent meals every evening, things that actually take time and effort to make like Thanksgiving style meals, multiple kinds of sandwiches you could get like pulled pork or sloppy joe, and international meals. But unless u enjoy paying to eat something that a 12 year old can throw together in 10 minutes, I suggest you don't eat here. The restraunts on campus offer many options compared to their lackluster service and quality of food. I'm sorry but paying 2,000$ to be served a. 50 cent hotdogs 5 times a month, or a grilled cheese 5 times a month, or literally only potatoes in whatever form they make, is not worth it to me at least.
