This school takes advantage of people in bad situations, with an illusion that they have their best interests at heart.

Easy and swift experience. If you are confused about anything, they help walk you through the steps. The tools and platforms that they use makes it a whole lot easier to access and more profitable to use. I had to be able to breathe slowly and deeply to relax and not be anxious because they are here to support the students.

Great way to quickly get your career as a software developer started. It is an intense program and you will have to very work hard but he results are very rewarding. There is an amazing staff and teachers who are willing to take the time and make sure you learn the difficult concepts. The claim of 80+ hours a week definitely holds true. Its a great experience if you are willing to work hard for your goals.

I have tried many times with no success to enroll into college, I never understood the steps to get started. FTC made it so easy to be comfortable and helped me understand exactly how to get into school with out failing. I start classes Nov 17th 2020 and I can't even begin to explain how excited I am to begin this new journey in my life! Thank you to the staff members that take their time out of their day to ensure that we can learn and understand easily here at FTC!

I have been with this school for a while and there are always people here to help you out in many ways possible. Even times when you forget certain things they are there to let you know what is missing. They are on top of you and your studies so that you are able to succeed and graduate. I love this school and the people that I met along the way it was a fun experience and I don’t take it for granted. Thank you FTC

I loved the teachers who taught the Medical Assisting program, but I got 0 jobs offers, even with a 4.0 & highest cert.score. Now a year later, I am getting harassed by a collection agency saying I owe this school money. I received my diploma a year ago, and I was told I owe NOTHING. The fact that I was not contacted by phone or mail by FTC, but sent straight to collections is absurd. I am currently stuck in LIMBO with financial aid & student accounts, who are placing blame on one another for assistance. Do yourself a favor & go somewhere else for school.

Thank you for the flexibility and help, it was somewhat difficult to go to work in the mornings and go to school afterwards but it was worth it. They were understanding of when I got late to class because of work and I received a lot of support. So thank you again to Professor Ciro Rios, Dean Eddy Jorge, Student Services James Veard, Career Services Donna Myers, and Financial Aid Director Joseph Dowling for making my time here worth it as an Electrical Trade Graduate!

I started at FTC last year May and my experience has been nothing but great. The teachers and staff are so welcoming and helpful. I’m in the medical assistant program and this college really has given me the passion to continue in the medical field and I owe everything to the teachers and staff for how amazing they are. I’m glad I decided to go to this college and I definitely will recommend it to anyone looking to get a feel of the medical field and to truly become part of the FTC family.

When I decided to try FTC in January of 2019 I had no idea that I would have been so blessed to be among such wonderful academic counselors and students. I was apprehensive because I am far past student or studying age, I am a grandmother and so I was apprehensive coming into this kind of setting. But I soon found out that the teaching staff not only gave their best in the classroom and online, but they gave me a place in their hearts also.
My first teacher/Dr. Smalls was so understanding, encouraging and sweet that I immediately felt at home. When I looked around me and saw only teenagers and young adults, and even my teacher was so much younger than I am, but she kept on telling me that everything would be alright. She was willing to meet with me outside of class time and gave me one on one instructions as often as I had time to work with her. I was able to call her, text her and email her at free will and she found the time to respond. I remember at one stage I was about to quit and I told her of my intention. What? She asked, " you can't do that come see me". I also emailed my Dean George and Dr. Tirado of my intention and they all encouraged me to rethink my decision and keep on going. It happened that taking their advise and praying about my decision and making the decision to keep on going has taken me to the final week of my career. Oh hallelujah and praise God for the journey through the last 12 months.
Has it been easy? No. But the staff at FTC Pembroke has been more than just teachers and Professors. They have proven to be family members who care not only about an institution and it's success but about those of us students who come through here. In fact my friend and church sister Bethune Davis was invited by me to join me in the class and she accepted. Yes she is also graduating as a result of the wonderful experience we shared in this institution/home/family circle.
I sure cannot forget my online professors, Lori Bair and Karen Ramsey. Oh! Talk about a woman who knows how to make learning fun and interesting, see or hear Karen Ramsey in the "Bat Cave" for preparation for the National Coding Examination. She is the BEST to have. My Capstone Professor, Lori Bair showed more patience than most working professors would. She never got tired of your phone calls, texts or emails. She really does keep you hanging in there to the end. She would say, "Come on now, keep the As going, you can do it" and we have almost reached the finish line. I know that my motto, "I can do all things, through Christ who gives me strength" (Philippians 4: 13) has been proven to be correct. I have proven it, because He brought me through what seemed to be an impossible task, to see the finished line just three precious days ahead of me. Thanks to the wonderful staff, secretaries/front desk persons and all who work together at FTC Pembroke Pines to make studying here be an unforgettable experience, for all of us.
