Florida Truckers Institute

I was a student at this school, I just graduated, I'm Latino, I didn't know any English, thanks to this school and to the teachers who help you a lot, they teach you, I already have my cdl, I recommend the school and very good financing.

This school is great the instructors are understanding of any and all situations, they train you well, and makes sure that you always pass your test. They have a no student left which is the best part of it all, I would recommend anybody that wants their come to this school.

Other local schools lied about driving opportunities for non-experienced drivers.
I completed my schooling in July, passed the state test and have been hired by a great mid sized reefer company making good money for a new driver. They did everything they said they would. Great, personable people who will give you all the time and experience you need to pass the test. I highly recommend this school if you want your CDL-A.

Good place to learn what you need to pass your cdl. Renee is fantastic to learn from, but I’ve learned from everyone taking bits and pieces from all the instructors and make it work a way you like to do it.

I’m 59 yrs old. I had to change my career. I was a HVAC technician for over 25 yrs and always liked the freedom of movement. I’m not a factory guy or retail. Driving a was my choice and best suited for me. I enrolled in FTI and began my 160 hr school training. My instructors were very informative, professional and a group of nice guys. I fell into my spot very comfortably and was guided through the process with even direct personal contact. Those instructors gave me all the knowledge and tools I needed to transform from unaware to a fully equipped professional. I passed my CDLA test and now within a week I’ve been blessed with a new job for which I ship out tomorrow to start my new career. Thanks to all the instructors and owner who made this happen for me. My experience with this school was great. It took a lot of hard work, and persistence. The instructors there were very helpful, and taught me exactly what I needed to know to past my road test on the first shot. It was a great learning environment to practice your maneuvers n shifting. I highly recommend this school to anyone interested in getting there cdl. Come here with a positive state of mind, and practice everything the instructors tell you, and you will pass your road test. The teacher were very knowledgeable I was able to complete the course within 4 weeks and pass my cdl test first time first try.

I was lucky to complete this journey with FTI, they held my hand and guided me through the whole process, and went above and beyond to teach me everything I needed to get my license, also gave me the strength, support and courage to build my confidence. I traveled almost 5 hours to attend this trucking training school, and I can confidently say it's the best choice. Unlike my previous trucking course where I felt like just a number, this school provided me with the time behind the wheel that I needed. The instructors are incredibly supportive, and Dave, in particular, is awesome. His way of explaining things from a beginner's perspective is truly mind blowing. If you're looking for the best trucking school, this is the one!

This is a great school. They helped me get my class A CDL. They help with all the information you will need for testing and job skills.

Florida Truckers Institute was the best place in my opinion to go to get my Class A CDL. The ability to go part time worked with my schedule and the instructors all have one goal, and that is to make sure you are prepared and ready to pass the final exam. Attending this school took me from a person with no experience prior to having the knowledge needed to aquire my Class A CDL. Big Thanks to everyone at FTI!
