Flounder's Chowder House

My husband & I went for dinner. We order the Nachos for appetizer. They were super huge! Super tasty. You would need at least 4 adults to consume the amount. I order the stuff flounder w/ asparagus it was very yummy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The service was excellent also. Very pleased with out experience.

Wow! This is the place to be in Pensecola Beach! The location, the views, the decor, the staff, the drinks and the menu. Probably the most impressive restaurant I've yet visited in Pensecola Beach.

The waitress and hostess were kind, the restaurant cleanliness left much to be desired, the food taste was terrible.

Fun friendly staff. The nachos are a huge value and taste great.

Borders on a tourist stop. Climate controlled seating or sit out in the breeze.

A must whenever we are in Pensacola Beach. The baked oysters Pensacola Beach style are perfect. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area. If you have the time, brunch on Sunday mornings is not to be missed.

It was delicious! We got the baked oysters, chowder and the shrimp boat platter. We loved everything.

My favorite place to eat on the beach! We eat here first everytime we come into town! We stayes 9 days this time and ate here 3 times!

I had the grouper and my wife had the snapper. Both were delicious and well prepared. The drinks were awesome as well. We sat at the bar, staff was friendly and attentive. The slice of key lime pie is huge and enough for 3, easy. We would go again.

Great service. There is a playground in the middle the kids can play in. And the raw oysters we're great.

Pricey, but service was good and so was the food. The only complaint was the asparagus that comes as a side, it was cooked well but lacked any seasoning and flavor.

Had a good timem we had a group of about 20. Things went well. Service and food could have come out a little quicker but that's what happens when you have a big group. My redfish was good but served cold.

The honeybutter bread is so unreal and the top shelf long island from the bar is amazing. 10/10 will enjoy going here.

Fantastic! The food was amazing, our server, Kimber was excellent. We could not have better things to say this is a great restaurant.

Went to try the famous three layer key lime pie and was disappointed unfortunately. The pictures online showed this beautiful lime green and creamy yellow layers that looked so appetizing and that's what I thought I was going to get. When I got it, it was nothing close to the pictures. The green was a dark green almost olive in color and the layered pieces where beige! It did not look appetizing at all! To me it look spoiled and I wasn't going to chance it at all. My dreams of having that key lime pie was killed. Management said that they have arguments with customers all the time about the look of it and just refunded the money. Seems like if you are always arguing about it you should try and change it or realize that something may be wrong. I wish I would have did a comparison photo but I was too disgusted to do so. What I will say is that the bar outside was nice and the drinks were ok. Wish I would have been given a drink menu when we got there.had to ask and they had to find them. Seems like they treat people like they have tried everything before when they could simply ask would you like our drink menu. I most likely will not return but would encourage people to at least give it a try.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and food was delicious! My mother and I split the Flounder's Favorites and still needed a to go box!

Another Pensacola favorite. I love the atmosphere here although the menu is a bit on the pricier side. I really enjoy the live music, volleyball, and diesel fuel drinks they serve. I once spent an entire summer coming every weekends and sometimes 3-4 days in a row with good friends and meeting good people.

Waitress was horrible left a note on table for her to smile. Spent $300.00 At the place and wished she could had at least smiled will not be back

One of the best restaurants on the beach. Our kids had a great time looking at everything in the place.

Great food, great staff, a perfect blend of history, nature, night club complete with live band, and even a playground for the kids
