Flying J Travel Center reviews
30Sean was really nice when I went back for a shower! The lady told my number 9 was my shower but it was mistakenly taken so Sean gave me a different shower and cleaned it for me before going in! Thank you for taking care of things around here!
Lots of parking.even late at night. That's the o ly reason for 2 stars. COLD WATER! Can't get even a Luke warm shower.manager said he has had several complaints, but he can't do anything. I guess it might be time to.start going to TA
Store is okay for an old store, never had an issue - showers could use an update. (Just a suggestion: there should be camera surveillance looking over the back-end area where the tractor-trailer parking area is and reasons being is that there are [nasty/lazy/sorry] individuals dumping their mess - creating a mess piled up behind/near the parking area that could attract snakes, rats, etc.)
Decent facilities.
Not good for using RV dumpstation. Tight for medium and large RV and campers, unless you carry long sewer line. I didn't see any potable water source either.
Fueling on 26 now and the handle to pump is broken and One of my biggest pet peeve’s with truckstops the handle is broken please fix it! Nothing worse than having to stand next to the truck and fuel manually
The busiest time of the day for truck drivers, and this place turns off all of the water. No showers, no restrooms, nothing. And they really don't seem to care. They threw customer care out the window and couldn't care a less. Don't stop here.
Wonderful, no matter what type of coffee or if you want capaccino, they have it, and if you have ever heard of Cinnabons, well they have those
Great location with entirely wonderful nice workers their friendly service make this place even more great
Trying to fuel up our truck with gas while towing a 35 ft 5th wheel trailer was too tight! Had to back out of the gas pump area. No room to pull through because of the building and parking spaces. Why can't Flying J put gas pumps in more open areas (like they do for those who use diesel fuel) for folks towing travel trailers, motor homes, etc. Not all "big rigs" use diesel!
Never knew of this place until now. Meet a friend who has a RV. Spent the night on the facilities. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. Took a shower in the morning and it was so clean. Now I know.
Parking lot is a nightmare because of a dead end. Lots of trucks damaged here from people doing uturns - definitely beware when deciding on a spot for the night.
Stopped to fuel and shower before going to our delivery. Half of the pumps were inoperable and after an hour of waiting for the shower, was told (I had to ASK what was going on) that they have no hot water and I would have to wait until for the plumber.
Update: forgot to mention that we were NOT reimbursed for the showers.
Parked overnight.
Lot has some spaces that will suffice for a nap if you need to pull off of I-10.
Lot is well lit, but, not so much that sleep is impossible.
Semi Trucks have a separate entrance.
There are signs that say 2 hour parking only but I have not been bothered, nor have seen anyone bothered by management or law enforcement officials in the many nights spent.
Also a Denny's if you're hungry.
Don't know what their problem is but none of the men's bathrooms had any toilet paper. My shower had one tiny roll that barely had enough.
Big fueling Stations are very nice when pulling a Big RV. Lots of things inside to browse and stretch your legs
They do not enforce the restriction for RV pu.ps.cars and truck in those pu.p lanes has us almost in the road wait I g to fill up.
EVERY thing you need inside.including a busy barber shop, a denny's, tv watching and massage chairs
Clean store, they have showers for the weiry traveler, a living room with sofa and t.v! Convince gas stations with a few perks! Good food or you can go into dennys! Either way the food is good!
I will drive out the way to go here. Not only is it great because there is a Denny's attatched but the store itself is a must if you are traveling or in the area working. I get the oizza there. Its delicious! They have all my fave drinks and nice staff
Super busy. Some pumps down. RV Dump Station is not with the RV pumps so you have to pull out and then pull up to the area next to it to dump. Kind of a pain. Wouldn't stop here again.
Not happy used app to reserve a shower. NO HOT WATER! SHOULD HAVE SIGNS UP EVERYWHERE! Towels stink due to NO HOT WATER TO WASH THEM and the manager could only say they are at the mercy of their plumber! CLOSE THE SHOWERS DOWN UNTIL IT'S FIXED! Had to go across the road to the pilot
