Foodtown Supermarket Davie

As a visible Jewish-American I did not feel welcome at this store at all. As soon as I entered I was being glared at by the workers, some with a hijab on, and stuff slammed down by them. This is especially upsetting after the unprovoked attack in Israel, on Jews for simply existing.

It's a great place to buy fresh vegetables, highly recommended. Brandon Asian Cuisine next door is also pretty good.

Everything was very good, I entered with curiosity, because it previously had another name, but I realized that it follows the same line as when it worked with the other name.
I don't know details about the name change.
But for those of us who have been customers for years, when we return to buy at mango tree supermarket, we were surprised by the name change.

Yesterday I buy cake rusk so bad like wood today I want to exchange but customer service guy refused. I told him I don’t want money back I just want good one but he said no. I m regular customer last many years. Rude customer service. I leave pack on counter I don’t like argument so feel very bad. I will tell my friends and family don’t go food town

Loved the new management, cleaner shop now. More space to get around than when it was Foodtown. Lots more fresh fruits, and they kept it up with restocking new items.
Keep it up guys, I spent more than $300 when I went there on fresh fruits.

My favorite ethnic grocery store. Their produce section is on another level. Lots of options to buy. It is my go to place to buy halal meat, fish and produce as well as a wide variety of Turkish, Middle Eastern and Asian food. (Previously, this grocery store was known as Food Town)

The bakery section is the worst, stale bread, bad customer service. I bought 3 loaves of the bread it also smells like the unpleasant smell of the store

Super huge store with lots of cultural variety of foods and ingredients, except they didn't have the ONE thing I went there for hahaha. I wanted miso paste but couldn't get it. So sad. But we found a few other cool items.

You can smell this place even when you are several hundred feet away, like at the sidewalk where you can cross over to McDonalds. Their sliding door opening up as people enter and leave lets that horrifying smell out and it drifts like a bad cloud around the general area. You can even smell it when idling at the red light. I know it's from this place as I went in a few years ago and I began to cough uncontrollably for a few minutes when the door first opened up, the cloud of smell at the doors is so much worse than at a distance, but it is from the same place. WHAT is causing it in there though? To try and describe it, it's like the body odor from a man who didn't bathe in a year, and who lives out in the sun all day sweating, plus some smell of decay thrown in and moldy underwear funk smell. It's that bad.

Good place for Asian America grocery items. Provide halal meat for Muslim. One of the cheapest markets for grocery.

This market has lots of great items to offer.
Just be warned of some smells from the dissected fish and shrimp.

Nice supermarket, a variety of ethnic products and some good sales. The place could be cleaner as well as the parking lot.

Service just awful, Asian market but few people speaks English, and on top don’t even truing to helping but just turning and walking a way pretending don’t understand nor trying. Never coming back! Indians stores are much better Consumers Service! On the photo person is hiding when I asked her name, and why she is like that?

Food and sweet staff were not great. I brought curds from there. Taste was not good. But meat and fish were nice. Focus on your sweet items pls.

This food store is very convenient because they carry a large variety of international products, specifically groceries, fruits, and vegetables. My only concern is that some prices are too high

Great place, wide choice of seafood, very fresh. The vegetable selection is great, common and rare varieties, the freshest I've seen. Seasonal fruit such as star fruit is available, also sapodilla/chiko sapote. Dragonfruit - all 3 varieties are available and typically great quality. Mangosteen! At least 15 different types of mushroom. Nato. Cactus pear. Mamey sapote can be a bit hit and miss though. Overall, highly recommended. Name changed in 2022, still a great place to shop.
