Even though they were extremely nice, NOT GOING BACK.took 10 year old lab a few days ago, diarrhea runny nose and I brought a video of the noise he is making. She was not concerned.about the noise, in fact I had to go back in, because she never said anything about the noise he was making when breathing, just the diarrhea. Mother’s intuition, I brought him to Blue Pearl in Jacksonville, Dr Pam and the staff was amazing Turns-out my sweetheart has a collapsed Trachea and pneumonia extremely disappointed, 464.00 for blood work and the wrong, overlooked diagnosis, with the wrong medication.

They were awesome took such great care of my baby girl she’s very skittish and they made sure she felt safe and secure. Will definitely be back and cheap prices. They were super helpful!

I chose Forever Vets because my work schedule is hectic and they are open on weekends and have drop off appointments available. Staff is nice, generally have good experiences when I go in. If you need a prescription check prices online before you fill them here, their prescription prices are HIGH. Unfortunately I’m going to have to find a new vet because I am not able to get return calls from the vet about my cats with asthma. I asked at an appointment if the vet would be willing to write a prescription for oxygen to use in an oxygen tent at home for emergency’s, vet said she’d look into it and let me know. Nothing. Asked vet at another appointment about using Cerenia for asthma treatment in cats. Gave me a small prescription and said he’d look into long term use and let me know. Nothing. Called and asked again about the Cerenia, no return call. Called a second time about the Cerenia, was told the original vet who saw my cat is not scheduled to be at that location any time soon so would have a tech talk to another vet about my request and get back to me. Nothing.
The inconsistent presence of the same vets at the same locations isn’t great for animals with conditions like asthma that can involve a variety of treatments. I think my cats conditions will be better managed with a more traditional vet practice where they can be seen by the same vet and who will work with me on research and options for treatment.

Subject: Unpleasant Experience at Forever Pet Hospital

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent veterinary experience I had at Forever Pet Hospital on Tuesday, November 28 at 3: 13 pm. I brought my cat in for an examination, primarily concerned about her skin condition.

Upon arrival, I was met by a blonde-haired vet tech and the tall blacked haired veterinarian named paige.who immediately recommended a series of vaccinations, including a rabies shot, totaling over $300. I explained that I was solely interested in addressing my cat's allergy issues and requested an allergy test. However, the vet tech insisted that my cat needed to be up-to-date on vaccinations, which I understood but was not prepared to proceed with on that particular day.

To my shock, the vet tech threatened to keep my cat if I did not comply with their vaccination recommendations and pay the associated fees. This blatant attempt to coerce me into unnecessary services left me feeling extremely uncomfortable and dissatisfied with the level of professionalism at Forever Pet Hospital.

Despite my initial concern about my cat's skin condition, the vet tech dismissed it as anxiety without thoroughly examining or addressing the issue. This led me to believe that their primary focus was on upselling services rather than genuinely addressing my pet's health concerns.

What troubled me most was the vet tech's mention of potential consequences if my cat were to bite them during the process, including a six-month quarantine or, shockingly, the possibility of being put down. Such a response seemed disproportionate and added unnecessary stress to an already distressing situation.

I also observed what appeared to be inflated charges for a simple rabies shot and additional testing. The proposed $30 shot at other establishments was listed at $48, and the seemingly arbitrary testing raised concerns about the transparency of their pricing structure. It's rather absurd that veterinarians are charging and insisting on mandatory services, especially considering that these services are required by the state. If anything, it should be the responsibility of the state to cover these expenses.

Furthermore, I found it ironic that while they claimed to consider waiving fees, it seemed contingent on their perception of the client. This lack of consistency in customer service was disheartening.

In summary, I came to Forever Pet Hospital seeking assistance with my cat's skin condition and left feeling pressured and exploited. I have always held forever Vets in high regard and have never encountered such a money-driven approach from a veterinary establishment. I hope that this feedback encourages a reconsideration of your approach to client communication and service delivery when speaking about taking someone's pet away.

HORRIBLE service. The reason I stay far away from veterinarians. Fast talking and care about nothing but $. Be very careful with them and take your time making decisions because they will talk you right out of your $. Then when u try to get an understanding and find out they over charge you and get it fixed, they want to credit you. Go over your statements with fine tooth comb. Most of all… Have a blessed day and choose a better vet no matter what you have to do. Trust me, it’ll be worth it.

I cannot express my gratitude enough for Meredith & Dr Varga.

I gained possession of a dog who had been hit by a car, 2 days prior. They understood my limited budget & desire to give him a life, instead of euthanizing.

I made a same day appointment, they gave me all of the info I needed & did a full exam (without x-rays, since I couldn’t afford them).

They gave him an injection for antibiotics & inexpensive pain medication, so that I could bring him home to heal.

Their compassion & understanding is far superior to many vets.

These people truly care for animals, and the humans who care for them.

If I didn’t live in Tampa, they would be my new vet.

From the moment that Sara answered the phone, to the moment I left their facility, I had the best experience I've ever had at any previous vet offices. So polite, friendly, CLEAN, and professional. I can't say enough about Miss Rae, SO AWESOME! She answered all my questions and then some. I now have one happy, recovering doggie. Piglet say's THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Honestly a terrible experience. STAY AWAY. I’m convinced they like to take advantage of their customers. In July I came in with a kitten I found, I signed up for the wellness plan thinking this will be the best decision. When September came around I realized that I honestly couldn’t afford the plan anymore and needed to cancel it. I called spoke with someone and they said that is no issue and it will be taken care of. No once did anyone tell me that “the contract” states I had to have a written request. Fast forward to October and they are still trying to bill me! They told me I owed them $135 for the months I didn’t pay and I said to them I was under the impression that my plan was already canceled and I didn’t need to do anything. I received an email from them again two days after stating I owe $285 now and are threatening me to take it to collections. I’m convinced they just want to take advantage of people! They don’t clearly tell you what needs to be done and obviously set you up for failure! Thanks forever vets! You suck

Amazing vet… I didn’t realize how rare it was for a vet to be open on Sundays, and when I had to have an emergency appointment, I was so grateful we could come to our regular vet vs.an emergency one! Staff is friendly, communication is great, and I love their pet plan!

We been clients for over 2 years and I've had my baby with fur actually that long she's a rescue baby and this is the best place for care and quick service they super nice and thorough and reasonably priced with a wellness plan kudos to forever vets

Subsequently, I am unable to give a gold standard rating of 5 stars. I had felt pleased with the input from the doctor. Afterwards, I learned that someone there had discussed my dog with a third party without my authorization. I find that unprofessional and unethical… Especially since it differed from my conversation with the doctor. This leads me to believe that I either received incomplete guidance from the doctor or that an employee shared unqualified opinions without my consent to the third party business. If it was the former then it’s perplexing why they didn’t do follow up communication with me.

My puppy Abigail broke her leg and when I brought her to Forever vets they were absolutely fantastic they continued to be fantastic with each manage change and I can have a totally calm puppy when I come in but when she sees any of the stuff she gets so excited to see them she really loves coming to the vet and seeing everyone that speaks a lot that tells me that they are fantastic even when I don't have my eyes on them because she reacts so ecstatic when she comes

Been coming here 3 years and has been the best I've found here in Jacksonville. Always pleasant may except one encounter. But that didn't take away from all the others. I love all the Vets that has seen my baby. She's 15 and has received great comments how good she looks as I call her a old lady lol.
