Fort Drum Service Plaza reviews
16Huge plaza with gas, convenience stores, fast food etc The bathroom's here are very large and properly maintained at all times. This place can get very busy especially during the weekends with plenty of travelers on the road. They do have plenty of parking for large trucks with trailers as well as 18 wheelers.
A typical Florida Turnpike Rest Stop. A good place for gasoline and snacks for your road trip.
Dirty restrooms, long lines and waits for food service, vending machines don't work. I am handicap and there are no benches to sit on at entrance
Waited 30 minutes for an order at Nathan’s and I am appalled by how TERRIBLE the chili tasted. Never ever in my life have I ever tasted something so bad. DO NOT GO TO NATHANS!
This is one of 2 big stops between Orlando and Port Saint Lucie, FL. Definitely worth a stop to stretch your legs, use restrooms, walk your dog, do some shopping, order fast food with several options. It's one of the biggest "rest areas" I've visited. It seems as if everyone on the Turnpike stops here as it is very busy.
Will stop again when in area.
Definitely recommend.
First time I ever saw a rest stop like this one. We stoped to use restrooms, they were clean and no lines because they had many. Then they had restaurants and gift booths. Lot's of parking and a information booth.
8: 00 p.m. On a Sunday night, only one food provider is open in a long line of weary, hungry travelers. The staff seems disenchanted and at times rude. Shame on Florida Turnpike Enterprise system for not doing better for its employees and it's travelers considering the tolls we pay to use the highway.
Poorly staffed, not particularly clean, most restaurants closed or only 1 person working at 7pm,
These service plazas right off of the Turnpike were once such a brilliant idea. You could stop without going far off the highway, get gas and food or whatever small necessities you wanted. Unfortunately that is the past. It isn’t much better than a gas station now especially after 6 pm. The food places are all so busy closing, except for Dunkin’ Donuts, that they don’t care if every single drink machine is out of syrup and out of ice. There is nothing telling you what times the food places will close but since I drive down every month, I can attest to the list of open food places no matter which of these you stop at, is reduced to just one around 6 or 7 pm.
Nice food selection, (Dunkin’ Donuts, KFC, Wendy’s etc) with some great seating available. The restrooms were fairly clean, but several faucets in the ladies restroom were in disrepair. The front entrance/flooring might also benefit from a power wash, since this is a plaza in a toll road. Just a suggestion.
Flies everywhere on the tables, tables sticky with food stains, men’s bathroom filthy, and no door fans on to keep flies out! This is the dirtiest stop ever been too! If you go look up at the cobwebs in the top windows!
This place had so many big flies inside. We could not even eat our food with the amount of flies in this place.
This service station is indeed popular, often bustling with activity to the point where a quick stop isn't really an option. However, amidst the hustle and bustle, there are commendable aspects that deserve recognition.
The restrooms, for instance, maintain an exemplary standard of cleanliness and are readily available without a wait time - a definite plus in such a busy environment. Also noteworthy is the broad selection of food and beverages, offering ample choices to cater to varying preferences.
Despite these positives, my visits always seem to coincide with the arrival of a convoy of buses, resulting in incredibly long queues at the eateries. This can be quite daunting if you're in a hurry. So, while the station offers great fuel services, clean facilities, and a wide food selection, be prepared for potential delays due to its high traffic.
Great place to stop off the turnpike road ranger boys have your back. 2 gallons free gas can definitely help get me off the side of the road. My bad
This rest stop is horrible. Not clean.workers are lazy and uncaring.overpriced items.water and soda fountains taste like dish soap and pond water.simply horrible. Don't go here.
