It survived Hurricane Idalia! Very nice place to launch a boat or walk out on the pier and throw your line in and catch some fish. Tons of parking to accommodate both cars and trucks & trailers. Take a visit to look out over our beautiful Crystal River!

Can be very busy as most public boat ramps. Obviously get there early to secure a parking spot. Once your in your boat in the canal, within a few hundred feet or so it opens to the Crystal River in a minimum wake zone. Once out of the no wake zone (s) normal boating speed (up to 25 mph) during the ride either way up and down the Crystal River. A must in moror driven boats: STAY IN THE CHANNEL MARKERS.

The boat ramp also provides a dock, covered and not for resting, photography, fishing, sight seeing, etc.

Last time I was at the ramp parking fees were not required. Saying that, because of liberals in office now and their quest for more government, I would not doubt if they started adding fees, because hey, the newly imposed taxes are just never enough for them!

2023-07-25: This is a nice, paved boat ramp with nice docks. It has the capability of launching four boats. There are quite a few parking spots for vehicles with trailers, and some spots for just vehicles. This launch is large and deep enough for larger boats. A short canal leads to the Crystal River. There is a launch fee of $10.00 and there are cameras. Annual passes are also available.

Great park, lots of parking but overrun on the weekends by Out-of-Towner's. Crystal River needs another ramp for weekend overload.

Wildlife scenery is great. Wear your sunscreen and make the trip to see some fish, birds and manatee.

Always enjoy going here and stretching my legs walking around. Love to be by the water.
