Very happy with care and staff. I think the therapy is very good. ALL the staff very nice and kind. I would recommend this facility to other people. Very helpful with the discharge. I am happy he is coming home.

No stars would be my review. I don’t need a reply to this review from the company - I have asked them not to speak with me several times -yet I got a call today. My mom has been out of this place for a few weeks now. And they called me today about personal items? I referred them to another family member to call. I can’t talk with them they are unprofessional and cause unnecessary stress. All I can say is be careful be cautious they” Hospital Dumped “my mother. They sent her to the hospital with no medical need - stated they had a plan to get her to be able to go to another facility and they dumped my mom in the hospital. - my mom had to live in the hospital for a week or so until they found another facility because they can’t put someone on the street. This facility discharged my mom because I was defending myself and I had called the cops and I was addressing complaints. They not only caused my mother stress but they also caused myself and family members stress. I would never recommend this place. My mom is now in a better home here in Florida. I wish this company would listen to patient needs and family members when they say something. Please don’t ever contact me again. I put it in writing now because the several times I mentioned it apparently went in one ear and out the other

Don't send your loved ones here! Mom was post brain bleed forced out of the hospital to this facility. I didn't want her to go but NCH DT said medicare wouldn't allow them to pass up an accepting facility.
Mom arrived here late Friday night after eating roast beef and mashed potatoes at NCH DT. So she was conscious, awake and alert to be able to eat on her own.
I arrived Monday because I had to do shift work over the weekend.
I arrived at Fort Myers Rehabilitation and found mom Altered mental status in bed, wouldn't open her eyes but mumbled. It looked like her mouth had dropped. I noticed the bathroom was blocked by the other patient's wheelchair making access difficult for my legally blind mom. Mom's call button didn't work when I was trying to get help for mom. Moms water was more than arms length away, the clock on the wall wasn't working, the blinds broke, and the bed frame was exposed creating a hazard for injuries. I went and found a staff member and she said mom was like that since she arrived. I was concerned that mom wasn't getting the nutrition and enough water that it would cause her health to decline.
Mom apparently fell the day before trying to get to the bathroom and didn't make it.
I did get a call but advised that mom wasn't injured.
Apparently the staff showed me mom medication instructions and it showed that mom is being given medication that will cause sedation x 2 a day morning and night. What! To a patient post brain bleed that is unable to see or stand without help!
I can go on and on
Mom is now in ICU suffering from another brain bleed in the same spot.
This facility is not fit for anyone.
I'm disgusted beyond words.
The picture is of a staff members car I believe parked behind facility. I seen it when I was looking for a parking spot.
Very bad for a rehabilitation center that supposed to be caring for the sick.
