3I wasn't at the pier, but, I was on a waverunner near the pier watching the Blue Angels practice. Great spot to watch from if you enjoy the Blue Angels airshow.
Gorgeous hidden gem! I hope it always stays that way. The pier was not overly crowded, which was good. We caught some nice fish. Got the annual pass so we can go back anytime we want since we don’t live too far. Looking forward to going back!
This is an open fishing pier in the entrance to the bay. Plenty of room to spread out. Parking is along the road right in front of the pier. It is a fairly long drive through the park to get to the pier. There isn't much shade nearby. The Fort is close by. It is located in the the national seashore so you do have to pay an entrance fee to get to it. There is almost no food or water facilities nearby other than the Fort gift shop.
