Fort Pierce Police Department

No patrol in certain areas. Spoke to a Sargent Davis about asking her offers to patrol my neighbor hood.

Have had only great experiences with these dedicated and professional public servants. I am thankful for every one of them.

My house was robbery 4 months ago, I called one thousand times and my case’s detective NEVER returned! Or answered!

Yesterday (July 28,2019) I was driving along Virginia Avenue when I observed a police car parked diagonally across one of the lanes. It was then that I noticed a female police officer picking up large pieces of sharp concrete or granite that was scattered in the road. It was a 95 degree day and certainly not in the police officers job description but she obviously felt the safety of the community was a priority. Thank you officer!

Ft. Pierce police recovered my stolen property. They were very nice over the phone and great in person. I could not have had a better experience. Christoph in evidence is great

Hit by a car went to the hospital had the sheriff there Tell me he's going to arrest me or give me a ticket for public indency for a saying the f word too many times This is why you have a one star.

It’s unbelievable that police officers in your city are so ignorant about our 1st, 4th, and 5th Amendment rights. Trespassing a man for exercising his 1st Amendment right is one thing but not knowing about our fourth and fifth rights is embarrassing. I hope he sues.

Your officers (and I use the term lightly) trespassed a citizen for holding a sing on city hall property. They told him he could not offend people. Maybe the department should take some refresher courses on the law and Constitutional rights. Police cannot lawfully trespass a person from public property without a crime. Expressing ones opinion of a government entity cannot be made into a crime.

If you're handicapped do not go to the main branch you have to park a block away by the time you walk in you get to talk to a receptionist that tells you to go away and bring back something else just call the police out to your house

The poor excuse for the officer who drives unit 467 should not be employed let alone have a badge. Someone needs to speak to him about his attitude and his interaction with people when he’s traveling through cities in which he doesn’t work for.

This place is a business they are not here to "help". THEY TOOK ME TO JAIL and wouldnt allow me to call someone to pick my car up for driving on suspended DLs. We see where the priority is.

I was in accident were I was listed as fault, the car hit my car from the side and I was listed at fault for not using due care.that the driver who hit me was going to do an illegal u turn in the road! I would like the chief of commander to contact me.the officer who wrote the report wrote a bias decision.

They were very gentle when arresting me. Their patrol cars are very roomy and they let me pick my radio station on the way in. I will definatly get arrested by them again.

We had a fender bender and didn't know what to do as we are from Canada. The other person involved was very agitated. Officer J Colvin appeared in several minutes. He was calm, knowledgeable and had a very good manner. We felt safe and in good hands. This Officer made an unpleasant incident into a much better and easier time for all of us. He's a treasure!

Had a fender bender on Saturday in Ft Pierce. Both drivers were upset and we were from out of Country. Everyone was uneasy until a wonderful officer from Ft Pierce Police department arrived. He was very calm and reassuring. He was informative and professional and had a great ability to relax everyone and put things into perspective. Soon, the officer had all the paperwork organised and we all left feeling much less stressed. Being a cop in Ft Pierce must be tough and dangerous every day. I have so much admiration and respect for these special individuals who risk everything everyday for the safety of the public.

I was leery of leaving my job late by the water as a man was lurking in front of my job. I was the only one there and called and they sent 2 officers for an escort to my truck. Ty so much as it was such a relief to feel safe! Love the Fort!

A/Sgt. Willis Tumblin and Officer Colvin were true heros for our family tonight. We were extremely worried about a family member that was lost in in Ft. Pierce, FL. Stuart Detox flew him down there and let him check himself out after they administered medications for the day. He was confused and lost and we were struggling to get him to and keep him at the bus stop so we can get him home. He had called me and told me that he felt like he was going to pass out. So Sgt. Tumblin and Officer Colvin went out to look for him. They found him, made sure he had his bus tickets, got him on the bus, and sent him home while keeping me updated. I have never felt so grateful for a stranger as I do for him. Thank you so much to anyone else that assisted him in finding my family member.

Ridiculous very very poor service if your car ever gets hit they don't check insurance takes 6 months just to get a accident report no matter how much you call and leave messages!

My mother had her car robbed and they got her wedding ring. My father passed years ago and they still haven't found it or even followed up. So sad.
