Fountain Grille Restaurant, Safety Harbor FL

Good menu and they also have a kids menu. The yummy complimentary bread and butter is a nice bonus. Fair prices and filling portions. Lovely atmosphere and a friendly and helpful staff. Vegan options. One of my favorite places.

We went for the Thanksgiving dinner. They seated us in the completely unattractive ‘ballroom’ by a door connecting the different rooms and the servers repeatedly slammed the door into my mother’s chair. We literally moved our table to try to stop the issue, but they continued to slam the door against her chair. The food was dreadful, two of our party were sick shortly after the meal.

We just came back from Thanksgiving dinner, Terrible food came on the table not the the right order, my order was the soup lobster bisque absolutely terrible that was no more than a opened can with 3 pieces of lobster salty and even not warm, next order was salmon I ordered mash patatos but got instead sweet patatos, green beans same beans from a can totally mushy, the waitress had to fix the drinks because no bartender, this restaurant booked for their own profit no staff enough and the the food a total disaster bill was over 200$, will never ever go again, they overbooked and the waitresses couldn't follow with orders, shame on you safety harbor spa!

A local classic! Very good food and service. Wonderful location in Safety Harbor, our favorite town on the peninsula. Street parking works for us but the valet is very accommodating and convenient. And there seems to ALWAYS be something fun going on in town after lunch

Great breakfast place. If you’re staying in the hotel Safety Harbor Resort and Spa, it is a very convenient place to dine as it is inside the hotel.

Nice place for a casual meal or group lunch, or if you're visiting the spa.
Service was nice, but a little distracted, however, we were a big group, so perhaps that was the cause
We were only there for lunch, so the food was simple - nothing really stood out.
Prices are moderate - I only had an appetizer and it was $10.
Beware - if you have a group over 10, they will automatically charge a 21% gratuity, even with separate checks, so be sure to read your check before tipping.
Parking is convenient on street or in lot for free. Valet available for extra cost
I'd go back for an organized get together, but would probably not choose the Fountain Grille as a first choice for date night or a meal with a friend.there are so many other great restaurants in the area.

While attending a board meeting for the week it was really nice to have a great place for breakfast and great coffee. The food is very good and the service is great. Very nice folks. I wish I had taken more pictures sorry. But still it’s a cool cafe in the morning. Enjoy

After a great morning at the spa, enjoying all the amenities, we stopped by for some lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The food was good and came in healthy sized portions (enough to take home for dinner). We will be back!

I was the early bird so to be honest I was the only person there. I really enjoyed my omelette and the coffee was great. They even made my fruit bowl to order.

I live in Safety Harbor supporting local eateries and have not been to the Grille in quite some time but was very disappointed with the so called "traditional southern fried chicken" which I was really craving only to bite into a very spicy and unexpected seasoning that ruined the dish. Asked the waitress what it was, come to find out cajun and tabasco - really!? No where on the menu does it indicate any of this nor is this considered traditional fried chicken. I struggled w/sending it back but then thought why feel guilty about this choice since it did not taste good, overly spiced. I will say the string beans and mac n cheese were tasty but kind of hard to screw those up. Yeah they took it off my bill but it wasn't about that, I had had a hard week wanting to take myself out for some guilty pleasure food. This place overall is lipstick on a pig, I know this but if you ant the locals you need to do more than advertise weekly specials.

We spent $157 brunch for two people on Sunday (tip and taxes included) We were not impressed at all with the food. We came here because I heard that it was great! I would say it was ok but not worth more than half of what we paid, maybe even less. Nothing espectacular to merit that kind of high price! The place was packed and we didn’t have reservation but because of the kindness of the management we were seated.
We wouldn’t come back or recommend. Save your hard earned money.

It's always a wonderful visit. The service is great, the atmosphere is elegant and the food is delicious!

I went in for a good meal. I ordered the crab cakes and they were very dry. They didn't give near enough sauce to moisten up the crab cakes. My waitress and the host were very friendly and the room was gorgeous but not enough to make up for the bad crab cake.very disappointing.

This is a great local spot to visit. Really good food, reasonably priced & a beautiful area to sit outside by the fountain with the bay breeze. It is gorgeous in the courtyard. Calm and a great spot to enjoy great food. Staff was very friendly as well. Totally recommend

My husband and I just joined the spa as members. We had a very lovely experience at the Fountain Grille for lunch. I ordered the Mediterranean Tappas which was fit for 4 people and a salad, and he ordered the steak burger with sweet potato fries. We were very impressed with the quality of food, the tranquil atmosphere, and the service was very pleasant. We look forward to going back again soon!

Lunch was amazing with the Grecian grouper and lobster bisque. After a nice spa day the service was great and I felt pampered and totally relaxed.
