Fraternal Order of Eagles, Sarasota FL

We were at a banquet there. It was a group of 50. All I can say is the food was delish! The staff was courteous too.

I drive an ice cream truck the kind that the children come out and order ice cream I broke down in the parking lot of the eagles club b l o c k i n g their whole entrance after a few minutes somebody came out from the club and gave me a jump start which did not work he probably stayed there a half an hour trying to help me get it started while I was waiting on the tow truck that could be anywhere from 2 hours till 8 hours and it was raining very hard someone come out and got an ice cream and they went inside and a few more people come out and got ice cream and I explained I was afraid my ice cream was going to melt because my truck was not started and everybody came together and went in and got grocery carts. I unloaded all my ice cream out of the truck two freezers full and they took it all and put in the freezers inside the club Gary one of the trustees told me that I could leave my truck there till the next day if I couldn't get a tow truck to come that day and even offered to put the part on for me they told me don't worry about the ice cream that it could stay there until I could get things took care of.they saved my business literally! And it was pouring down rain they invited me inside b o u g h t me a drink and someone even asked me to join and paid for my membership fee the best people I could have ever met Gary was a huge help said he would help me get the van fixed that he could put the part and for me. Even took time before he went to work the next morning to make sure that I could get my ice cream out of the freezer at 8: 00 in the morning.they were the most kind people I've ever met they're wonderful people there they all g r e e t e d me when I walked in like they knew me forever. I am very thankful thank you for everything you did for me they kept my ice cream in the freezer for 3 days until I could get back over there with my truck and get it and again it was no problem I can't thank them enough thank you everyone from the eagles club that helped me thank you thank you. I even got a ride home from one of the members.a special thank you to Gary, and everyone that made me believe there is still good in this world.honestly they saved my business literally.they're sure still people in this world that are kind and willing to help someone that needs it without hesitation. It restored my faith in humanity thank you again everyone, I'll be seeing you soon.

Friday night fish fry was very good. Masks were optional for all but staff wore masks.

Got invited to go in for lunch with a member good food great people

Love to go but unfortunately they r still closed.

Dancing and music. You must be a member or be with one. Crowded on Friday nights.
