Place was awesome when I first became a mbr but then everything changed overnight. New mgmt? Can’t bring family or a friend. Main reason I joined. Family friendly. When questioned about same. The mgmt responded with basically “we don’t care “. “Have plenty others waiting. “.
I served over 27 yrs and son currently serving in marine corps but no longer welcome I guess.

I have been a supporter of the police since childhood. My Father was the union representative for the PBA of New York. As City Councilman of Danbury Ct I made sure that the police received all of the equipment they requested. Now that I live in St. Augustine, it is a pleasure to be able to enjoy this excellent gun range. Everyone at the range is friendly and ready to help you with any problem you may encounter. A great lifetime experience.

So I'm new to the area as I called in gunshots not realizing there is a firing range close by! I respect this. But on the flip side it is becoming louder as I am in a RV an my dog as well as others around me are having the same issue!
Yes we could move, yet I'm sure most of the hand guns/ service pistils are not as loud as what I'm hearing.
With this said I respect you all, but please be mindful to others around you as well.
If this continues! I will speak out loud to the city

They don't care about the time! They will shoot at 6: 00 am or 10: 00 pm. Very inconsiderate! There are people who need sleep!

After speaking with the President of the FOP LODGE 113; and after a long discussion regarding the changes that have taken place at the organization, I now fully understand why these changes are occurring and have decided to retain my membership with the lodge. I was not aware of some very important actions that had taken place against the Lodge because of a single bad choice that was made and it had nothing to do with the lodge. I let the FOP 113 President know how much myself and my family enjoyed the lodge and all its members, and I take back any and all comments made by me concerning the lodge turning into a business; which was the furthest from the truth; I did not have all the facts. I now have them and will wait to see what the outcome will be. I hope that the FOP 113
can resolve the issue at hand and get back to as close as it used to be before this action against the lodge took place.

Hoping for a good outcome.
Good luck!

I don't like writing reviews like this, but I feel potential members need to know the truth.

I'm really disappointed where this range has gone in the past few years. It currently has a BOD that is out of control, adding ridiculous rules and unjustified increased dues.

I can now no longer bring my son (the only guest I've ever brought for the past 15 years) with me. Because of this, 2022 will likely be the last year I am a member.

They've also implemented some ridiculous rule that if you ever leave membership you must pay to “catch up” on "missed" dues if you want to come back. Need to move away for a few years? Simply cannot afford it for a year or two due to economic hardships? It'll cost you big when or if you ever want to come back. They used the example; if you decide not to use the range for five years, you'll have to pay $1,000+ to get back in. This must be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of; and now after the new “no guests” rule eliminating my son from being able to come with me, I’m done.

As for the previous reviewer that mentioned the arrogant management.he's not lying. I won't go into details, but emails are answered as if you are dirt, and they could care less about your questions or concerns.

This range used to be great. Now, it's just a business.edit: I just wanted to edit to add that it is insulting to be told guests are no longer allowed (as mentioned previously) due to (insert several excuses they provided here), and then a month later, guests are now miraculously allowed.for $20. Oh, and after this review was posted, they also miraculously decided 2023 dues would not rise. Hmmmm. Stay away from this range. The BOD should be removed.

Mr. Arteaga, If you had shown up to the last several meetings, you would know the reasons for the changes. You are more than welcome to call me and I will discuss it with you. Please find out the whole truth rather than a convenient truth for you before posting disparaging comments. Our mission is to take care of Law Enforcement officers and we have a special relationship with our associates as well. I await your call.
