Mike, the manager runs a great operation, everything goes smooth, treats everyone fairly, and makes sure all the boats are in great working order!
We have been members for almost a year now. We love go out of FBC Cape Haze due to the variety of boats and the staff. We had an outstanding ding interaction with Trevor today. He is 5 stars all around and a large part of why we love Freedom Boat Club SWFL.
Absolutely amazing! The staff, facility, boats and area were all great! The staff was stellar since they made us feel at home even though we were new to Englewood and showed us everything that we needed to know and more so! Freedom Boat Club Englewood are rock stars!
This was my first boat rental. However, my dad has been a member for over 15 years. I confirmed my 9 AM arrival. I reserved Time to Fly. I was notified that they changed me to Knot A Worry. Not a big deal until I arrived. When I arrived my boat had not even been pulled from storage to bring to the dock. I waited for 30 minutes until 9: 30. Meanwhile, other members arriving after me were showing up and leaving on their pontoon boat. This was my issue. I should have at least received a phone call letting me know my boat reservation was not going to be ready at 9 AM or they should have put me on another boat. In addition for what its worth, KNOT A WORRY's Throttle Control is stiff and hard to put in and out of gear. As my first experience as a member I was disappointed. If I had not had previous years of positive experiences with the boat club, as my dad is a member, I would be rethinking my invest in the club. The member deserves a call when you are going to be this late with a reservation to avoid this type of issue.
Love this marina. Staff is super helpful with getting in and out of dock. This marina has over 60 boats to use! There are bathrooms inside marina. The tide is much less an issue here than at other marinas in the area. Parking is an issue, especially on the weekends. Highly recommend Cape Haze.
