6I had reserved a boat over a month ago due to having guests from out of town and one of them uses a walker. The boat we were given was not the boat ordered and the guest that uses a walker would not have been able to get on the boat. Then out about 2-3 miles the engine started sputtering and jerking like the gas had water in it. I think I got whiplash. I would not recommend Freedom Boat Club
This is the best way to boat. The Club makes everything easy. They treat us members like we are guests. I highly recommend them.
Staff was very helpful/accommodating and the marina has many amenities. Nice location.
Location was new for us, but easy to find and easy to find our way out of marina and back.
Steve did a great job explaining the boat club options. He didn’t pressure us at all. Cape Coral has access to 17 boats and are trying to bring it up to 20. He compared it to a golf membership. You have a membership fee and a monthly fee. You have several options,
full time and 6 months, weekend or week days. It looked like a good plan if you were a boater. No maintenance, insurance and they have to worry about hurricanes.
Iam a reciprocal member, and was treated as a daily user. Glen and Thomas were very helpful, and thoroughly checked me out and in, giving me local advise on navigating local waters.
