French Corner Bistro reviews
17Excellent meal in the most unexpected location. This place is easily overlooked, but if you're lucky enough to know about it, you're in for a treat. The food was delicious (I had the esgargots, mussels, and steak), and the severs are lovely. Only caveat is they have a small kitchen, so you might have to wait for a bit for your food, but it's worth it!
Wonderful experience, as usual. Incredibly delicious food, terrific service, intimate, charming and peaceful ambience! Can't wait to return.)
Quintessential French gem. We had the trout special. The food was simple and delicate. Great baguette with butter as well.
We love this place. Our friend recommended it to us, and we've been back twice now for lunch. The atmosphere is unexpectedly charming and trasports one to France, as soon as you settle in. French tunes are softly filling the air, and the decor is comfortable and traditional - gives you a feeling of being in a real French bistro - waited on by family. We had escargot, pate, chicken and mushroom, salmon, two different soups - and terrific desserts. The creme brule is the best we've had down here! We are looking forward to going back to try the dinner menu. What a wonderful place for a caually elegant, delicious, friendly meal.
Lovely dinner on a Monday. Had the prix-fixe which was a great deal and the food/service/ambiance were great. Super friendly and delicious.
I m French President and I love food believe me, for me the best French restaurant in Florida
Was looking for authentic French food and was not disappointed! Great service and food was delicious, the ratatouille is exactly like at home in France, desserts are also on point! Would definitely come back!
We did go there for a few times and loved the food and the atmosphere. So, we decided to come back on our Wedding Anniversary day despite the very long commute. Probably they have a new chef because food was not so great. I had beef burgenion, that has been very delicious before, but now couldn't eat even half ot it. The beef had very bitter taste and the mushrooms had a lot of garlic. I love garlic, but it was too much even for me. The atmosphere and the service was great as usual. Hope it was just an accident. Not sure will drive 60 miles each way again.
We find this small local french restaurant not far from our house with great food we were very happy with our food
The food and the service is always supreme at the French bistro I have paid a lot more for French food and got a lot less this is a great value I would recommend the French bistro to anyone
Went here with my boyfriend for some French onion soup and a sand-which. We asked what the sandwich had on it and the lady said “nothing just chicken and bread”. Obviously there was a misunderstanding because we were served a sandwich with Mayo onion lettuce etc. It was lacking flavor and very average. Then the onion soup, seems like whoever was caramelizing the onions was in a rush because they were burnt and still raw and there were only a few shallots in the entire soup but the taste of some-type of alcohol in the soup that was not cooked off and the burnt taste did not go together. We were the only ones there and heard the beeping and slamming of a microwave. Not a good experience.
The frog leg is good. The escargot is so so, the bread is no good, tasted saggy. Good service.
I just called to ask about more information about the soups and the person on the phone, l believed to be a woman, had an attitude. I asked for recommendations and she was not helpful. I was trying explore new food in the area but the lady's distasteful attitude most definitely steered me away.
A little slice of Paris in Florida. Food never disappoints and portions are more than satisfying.
The owner is always there and a pleasure to discuss French cooking.
If you get an opportunity, go!
