Freshfields Farm, Orlando FL

I'm making a review because I've seen a few reviews complain about pricing, and that's not my experience. While I believe their produce is average and pretty equal to other places, their meats are great quality, hormones free and cheaper than more groceries I have gone to.

By price comparison, they're about 30-50% cheaper depending on what you're getting. And just when places like Target, Publix and Walmart upped their meat price ridiculously, Freshfields was still affordable and didn't go up 50-200% in meat prices like everyone else.

Are there times when produce and meat price will alter? Of course, you can expect that with economical changes, inflation or demand, but they still remain rather cheap in comparison.

Not to mention that for the hormone free meat, you can't beat the prices. You're paying at least twice as much for that at other places.

Now, in terms of the layout. Someone mentioned it didn't feel like a mom and pop place anymore. Listen, places will change and so will their style. You can't expect a place to remain the same forever especially when customers are seeking for something different. They have to stay in business, and as a marketer with over 12 years experience, I've learned that if you don't change as a business as the collective changes, you will eventually be bankrupt or have to close down.

Be happy that they're still affordable, providing great quality products, even if they do look more modern than before. It's a good thing to change, nor a bad one.

Gotta tell you it's the freshness produce, meat and seafood I've seen in this area! Prices are right too! Selection of meats and fish and seafood is perfect! Veggies are fresh

Yesterday, was my first time visiting Freshfields Farm. I was recommended by an ex-employee. I was in need of turkey and bison. Unfortunately, they don't carry bison. I know this because of Leticia N. This well knowledge employer gave me a tour and explained where everything is at and what it contains. As a person that takes care of her temple I am super grateful. With all of that being said I will be purchasing again. Thank you for taking the time.

I just moved to Orlando from Ann Arbor, Michigan and it was a shock for me how expensive food is here in Florida. Freshfield Farms is incredibly fresh and way cheaper than Publix. Fortunately for me, I live just down the street but honestly, I would travel further just to shop here. My produce and meat came to just under $100. A bill that would have exceeded $200 at Publix.

This is my favorite to shop, I have save so much money, and I love the fact, I get everything fresh from the farm. What more do you want. This is my store period, and I don't need to go anywhere else for fresh fruits, herbs, vegetable and fresh meat.

This place has a very good selection of meats and veggies, along with fruit. They have everything from beef, to chicken and mahi-mahi. Pork too, and they have the meats and veggies separate from each other which is good for more sensitive people who don't like seeing that.

My family and I LOVE! This place, the staff is ALWAYS! Friendly and making sure the cases are full of great cuts of meat on the butcher's side and the shelves are full of the freshest produce in Orlando on the produce side, AND! The prices can't be beat.

Staff is super friendly, makes you feel at home Food is excellent and well worth the price. They serve large delicious portions. You will not leave hungry. Fun atmosphere!

I just got done shopping here, and I usually love coming here, as I love to support small businesses and local farmers. However, today, I have never felt so uncomfortable and dismayed at my experience. I almost cried once I got into my car.

Is it because I had so much in my cart just for myself? Because I didn't do myself up today and I looked like some kind of thief? Is it my ethnicity?

But it was incredibly obvious you had staff and undercover staff following me and looking over my shoulder. IT WAS RIDICULOUS! I felt so small and was rushing to get out of there just to show you I was a paying customer.

I have a hard enough time dealing with social anxiety as it is and getting myself to go grocery shopping, hence another reason I chose this place, because I preferred the smaller layout. And I thought it was welcoming and kind.

What used to feel safe, intimate, and relaxing for me, has now become an experience I may never want to put myself through again!

So heartbroken!

This has been the market I shop for fresh produce for the past 10 years. Also for quality meat. Fish quality has decreased in the past 18 months due to the pandemic I imagine, but produce and meat are real good quality and great price.

They had so much variety in the meat section. The fruit and Vegetables section wasn't bad. A little pricey. Still happy i found this place.

Crowded place for good reason. Great selection and prices for meat and produce. Very friendly customer service. They keep the lines going smoothly.

Nice cuts of meats at a decent price. Great variety, and it always looks fresh. We travel an hr to this location to stock up. Definitely recommend.

I was disappointed that there were no beef sausage available. Oh and seeded Watermelons are $9.99! Ridiculous! But my purchase of chicken and pork shoulder was worth it. I’ll go back again.

I love shopping here! As a vegan, it makes me so happy that the veggies are in their own store. I love the variety of choices for veg, dried beans and grains, and fruit. The layout makes shopping so quick. Weekends are definitely way busier but totally worth it.

Not the mom and pop store we remember. We as a family have shopped here quite frequently, but we truly did notice that the old feel of the "Mom and Pop" store has vanished completely and it's been replaced by a more upscale higher end priced meat and veggie market. The staff are beyond kind and helpful. With that being said, the prices are sky high and they're no where near where they used to be where it wasn't just local it was affordable so you'd keep going back for more. Sadly, it seems they're aiming for a higher class market where those with a large budget can afford. I personally cannot see a medium class house hold being able to afford more than two or three things. On the positive side the meat and veggies are amazing! But at the moment they're amazing to simply look at, not afford any longer.

A true gem! They have so much great produce in stock at all times for a great price. You won't find better meat prices anywhere. The staff is always kind and they keep both buildings extremely clean. They also have a great stall with ice cream, hot dogs, and sandwiches.

I’ve enjoyed their ice cream since I was 5 years old and I take my kids here whenever we’re in Orlando. The produce and cuts of meat is fabulous.
