Freshmen Barber Shop, Miami FL

Please do not pay for a haircut from these people. I paid for a low taper fade and I showed my barber exactly what I wanted using two different pieces of media, (a video and a photo) yet he still failed to satisfy me.

I’ve been cutting my hair with the owner for well over 15 years and the service, attention to detail never ceases to amaze me. Fabian came from cutting hair back in the day at Playerz to owning and running one of the best barbershops in the nation. I’ve been traveling the world over the last 2 years and I still cannot find a barber as good and professional as Fabian. Hope to make a visit in Miami soon - been too long! Keep up the great work man and stay fresh always!

The best barbers and customer service. Fabian, the owner, always manages to get you an appt even last minute. All barbers there are amazing and very professional! I always struggled taking my son to barber shops because they don't usually have a very welcoming mommy/child atmosphere.not sure how to explain it, but Freshmen Barber Shop is always welcoming and professional! Highly recommend them!

Dropped in here for a desperately needed haircut and beard trim. Joban did an excellent job, taking his time for the finer details. Very happy with the result. Great price/value. Would be my go-to haircut place if I were living here.

I arrived into town late and had not gotten a haircut. The shop was closing up, but Jose helped me out with a cut. Loved the vibe and the people.

BY FAR the most horrible haircut I ever received. Grew out my hair for 2.5 years and within 20 minutes my curly hair was completely ruined. Nice barber, but completely unprofessional and complacent. Came from 40 miles away but seriously regret it.

Regarding the management: It’s certainly bad business to tell someone you’ll “hook them up” with someone who can handle your long hair, and then to pass them off to the youngest, least experienced barber; one with no idea how to work with layers, nor with curls.

A real professional barber should admit he is ill-equipped for a given project. Like I said, completely ruined my hair by hacking at it with scissors, to the point where I later had to pay another actual professional stylist to cut my hair all the way short just to even it out. Yikes.

I suppose all they really care about getting paid their 20 bucks. Didn’t even have the decency to admit how bad of a job it was, and then proceeded to charge me for it. Whatever, didn’t argue. Just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible once I realized what they had done.

First time customer and I am extremely impressed of how great Fabian cut my sons hair. Not to mention he has a swirl which is difficult to cut around but he mastered it. 5 stars from us hands down, made my son look like an all star:) The staff is extremely attentive, kind and professional as well as a spotless barbershop. Highly recommended if you want a fresh cut by great people.

Fabians cuts are super fresh, and service is professional. Barbershop is family friendly and clean.

Never had an issue with freshmen barbershop. Fabian has been my barber for many years and has always been professional and courteous. Definitely recommend!
