Frontier Airlines, Fort Myers FL

I can’t explain in enough words how horrible this airline is. The LONGEST check in lines ever. Oh did you forget to print your bag tag? $20. Want to fly a bag? $65, want a carry on? $35. Oh and you bag can’t be over 40# because of the “environment. ” Just horrible, horrible people.

BEWARE! I am an aerospace engineer at the largest aerospace company in the world and work with our airline customers daily. I am appalled at Frontier airline's lack of customer service. If I could give zero, I would. Frontier literally stranded my (family of 6) in Virginia. The flight was delayed 5 times and the final arrived the next day. They didn't care that we had 6 people (one an infant) and would arrive at 2am and then drive another 4 hours home putting us awake for 24 hours. Didn't care about passenger safety so how can I possibly trust that the aircraft is safe? As an aerospace engineer, I know these are the kind of budget cuts that often lead to aircraft maintenance budget cuts. Wouldn't pay for the additional rental car fees. No help from the airline at the airport (they had one Frontier agent that could do nothing other than cancel our tickets for a refund leaving us stranded). Zero effort put into finding alternate airports to fly out of or into (I was flying out and into metropolitans that had at least three airports within driving distance on both ends). Any hard questions, we were referred to the phone number which will not let you speak to anyone. I finally got someone on the online chat and he told me to see the Frontier agent at the airport. I just wanted to laugh. Offered nothing other than to cancel our flights. I guess Frontier is now in the business of running customers away. I travel often for work and have NEVER seen this with another airline.even the low cost ones. Those cheap flights are not that cheap by the end of the trip. Pay a little extra and use an airline that you can depend on. Remember, you are literally putting your life in their hands! AVOID!

Absolutely horrendous airline. My family had to fly due to a death in the family and were treated like criminals for bringing personal items onboard. They were FORCED to pay $99 to bring a backpack on board. Not only did they pay a ridiculous amount of money to fly in the first place with the price of the seats conveniently upcharged.but it was such a nightmare during what is already a horrific time. Frontier should be ashamed of themselves and the BBB should be involved. Their staff at the airports should be investigated.treating customers horribly. The sad part is that I used to fly this airline constantly and they have become mean and uncaring. Never again.

On March 27,2023 we arrived at Fort Myers airport for our “confirmed and on time status flight ” back to Cincinnati. While going through TSA we got a text our flight was canceled. We immediately went to the Frontier counter to find there were no flights back to Cincinnati for 3 days. We had to be back at our jobs on March 28. The only Frontier flight was in Orlando at 6: 20 am the next day. We had to rent a car, drive 4 hours and pay for a hotel. We submitted a request for reimbursement to Frontier and it was denied. We escalated our complaint to the VPs of customer service and commercial and heard NOTHING! DON’T USE THIS AIRLINE! A low cost fare is not worth being stranded!

40 lb bag limits. Carry on size checks. Some people get forced to pay 50$ because the wheels on their bag don't fit in the slot. Other people walk on with oversized bags (who did not pay). Fly frontier to save money, and regret it the whole time you are there.

Frontier feels more like being booked for jail than it does getting ready to enjoy a vacation.

What a nightmare. The Frontier staff at RSW made every passenger place their carry on baggage in the bag sizer. If it did not fit, passengers had to pay $99. What a sight to see with everyone forcing their bags into the space. Why has Frontier now decided to enforce the sizing? Not making enough money? Lots of disgruntled customers. And the bag gestapo were quite rude. Customer service is not one of their strengths.

Paid for travel insurance yet they refused to give me a refund when I had an emergency and needed to cancel my flight. Very disappointed.

The loading gate charged us an extra $99 for our personal free carry on item. The bag was inside the box but the wheels ONLY protruded 1/4 of an inch! The bag still flew under the seat infront of us as it fit fine. Also, they lost my handicap mom in a wheelchair a month ago. Never showed up at gate with chair to take her to the connecting flight. I had to call the airport and ask they find her since she was texting me for help.

The worst airline, they don’t care about passengers at all.asking money even for water.
Always delays, cancellations or selling more tickets than the plane has!
I always use small backpack as my carry on but only with them I had a problem. They use measuring box for your luggage and this one was insanely small, so my backpack did fit, and you know what they said “100$ fee”, it’s ridiculously insane.
Horrible, horrible.
