My Partner and I had the most amazing experience with this delivery center. These Midwives worked with us through this journey to bring our daughter to this world. These midwives are highly experienced and knowledgeable.

Sharron and Heather were present for my delivery and were amazing. All of my prenatal and postpartum care was great. After delivering my three prior babies at a hospital with traditional OBs my experience here was everything I had longed for. Individualized, caring, specialized and knowledgeable are just a few words I can think of to describe the care I received. I highly recommend them!

I love the main Midwife, I gave birth at the peak of covid in may 2020. I was in labor and when I called for some reason the midwife on call was an hour away. Which I didn't think was a big deal, I thought since I paid for their services that she would start coming my way. I dont know why the midwife on call was in st Augustine when she works under this Jacksonville branch. I ended up giving birth alone with 911 and the midwife on the phone.after I hung up I told 911 to leave, they tried to cut the umbilical cord while my placenta was still in me! They knew nothing. I called my midwife back and she told me she thought I went to the hospital.so here I am, she FINALLY starts to come to my house and im sitting on my floor holding my new born with my placenta stuck in me for an hour until her and another student show up.when they did show up they did an amazing job. I was really upset I was treated this way. Now here's where I have a huge problem, again ill say that the lead midwife is AWESOME and ive never had problems with her. But when I went to go to a checkup with Heather, one of the other midwives, I became incredibly upset. I told her about my birth story, she continues on to say " oh yeah _ called me and asked me if I wanted to go and I was like nah im good ill just sleep" so this midwife was literally AROUND the corner from me.and is telling me, a new parent who is sleep deprived, the reason I had to wait an hour is because she didnt want to get up and help. Which is fine, but DONT TELL ME THIS! I wouldn't recommend this place just because you dont know who is on call, you dont know if anyone will even show up when youre in labor, its very upsetting and I feel like they should be more attentive. I know its hard when you have kids of your own, but this was a terrible experience for me.

I was so blessed to have Fruitful Vine be part of my birth experience. I have a beautiful daughter and felt so comfortable and at easy with Sharron and her staff. You are the best! Thanks for sharing one of my favorite moments in my life, the birth of my daughter! ️

Terrible experience. No physically examination was ever given nor did they give an ultrasound until it was requested. After being notified that the mother was going into labor they continuously asked her to wait until they opened. They persistently disregarded the mother concerns for immediate attention. Now they are refusing to issue a refund although no service that was paid had been given.

I had three babies with Fruitful Vine (2003,2009, and 2011.) I always felt listened to and heard. My appointments were half checking on my health and my baby, and half chatting and catching up. After a hospital birth with complications from over-managed care, it was such a relief to have midwifes that trusted me, and that I knew would transfer me any time it might look like I would be safer in a hospital. Two of my babies were born at home, and one at their free-standing birth center. Their experience and care completely met my needs, and I am forever grateful to them for my prenatal, birth, and postpartum care and respect.

After several traumatizing hospital births, I decided in 2018 when I was pregnant with a 6th child, I wanted to try a more natural route. I did some research and came across Fruitful Vines, let me tell you it was one of my best decisions. Sharon, Tara, Heather, Serena and all of the midwives are very knowledgeable, caring but dedicated to providing the best care. If I had any questions or concerns, it didn't matter what time or day it was, they also picked up the hotline number to answer my questions. Unfortunately with my 6th pregnancy, I had to be placed on full bedrest. Tara actually would visit me at home so I could continue receiving care. She not only provided awesome prenatal care but she helped encourage me, when I was feeling down during the bedrest. Tara was awesome during the delivery, she arrived at my home just as the baby was about to come. She took great care of the me and the baby, she even cleaned up the whole birth area and washed all of our dirty sheets and towels.
I just recently had my seventh child with them and it was an amazing experience. This time I did a water birth in my garage, with Heather and Serena. They never complained about the heat or the cramp area. When it came time to deliver my baby, they told me to push when I was ready and allowed me to just listen to my body and be in whatever position, I felt comfortable in. After 20 hours of hard labor, I finally gave birth to my baby girl and I was able to hold her as she was coming out. The whole experience was amazing but I am so thankful that Heather and Serena were there, to encourage and support me. They are so dedicated to caring for the clients, that right after caring for me, they traveled to another clients house to help her delivery her baby.

I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect birth. Sharon, Lori, and Selah were amazing and very helpful.

I made an appt at this facility appx 3 weeks in advance. My appt was with Serena. She is who I was in communication with regarding my history, my concerns about home birth, etc. The day of my appt, I arrive about 10 minutes early, I call & call no one answers in the office. I call Serena directly, she informs me that she won’t be able to make it, that I will see someone else, whom I never met, nor did any research on. There was not a courtesy call, or any heads up, just brushing me off to someone else with a host of excuses as to why, but no apology. I was prepared to bite the bullet, bc I was already on location, & had been anticipating the visit for a while now. I tell her I’m at the office, & no one is answering, she goes, oh they’re on lunch. The entire office goes to lunch at the same time? The lack of professionalism, courtesy for my time, and misinformation as to who I would actually be seeing was it for me. The reason I gave 2 stars, instead of 1 is bc in our brief conversations, Serena did seem knowledgeable about the craft. Do with that information, what you will.

I found out I was pregnant with my first child in February, around June I had decided I wanted a home birth! After searching and searching I found Fruitful vine and finally got transferred around in August. It was one of the best decisions I made. I wish I had found them sooner! I absolutely loved everyone I there! Sharon and Heather were at my birth, and Serna always answered my texts with all my crazy questions. I couldn’t have asked for a better home birth. They were all so personable, and made me feel at ease, even though I wasn’t showing it through labor. I love these ladies! And if I somehow some way I end up pregnant, I will definitely be doing another home birth with these lovely women! They made my first and last pregnancy one to truly cherish and remember.

I can’t say enough about the care and support my wife and I had at Fruitful Vine. We received amazing support during our pregnancy, home birth, and postpartum.

We had an incredible experience with Sharon and her team of midwives. Everyone was professional and gave us outstanding care. I’m saddened to read some of the negative reviews on here because that wasn’t our experience at all. I had a home birth with Sharon, 5 months ago, and had an amazing birthing experience and welcomed our precious baby boy. It was incredible to be at home. Sharon is incredibly knowledgeable (she’s been doing this for so long), and I felt supported and encouraged throughout the process. The most important thing to me was having a midwife with loads of experience and expertise, and of course someone we felt comfortable with. Sharon and her team were that for us. I am so grateful for their care!

I can’t speak highly enough of everyone on staff at Fruitful Vine. I transitioned to a home birth at 34 weeks because of COVID-19. They were nothing short of accommodating and wonderful. Lori was always professional, patient, and kind whenever I had any logistical questions. The care provided by the midwives was compassionate, thoughtful, and thorough. Giving birth to my son during a global pandemic could have been a completely different experience for our family. But they, specifically our attending midwives Serena and Heather, helped to make it a safe and sacred one for us. He was born peacefully at home on June 5,2020. They helped me to achieve the water birth I have always wanted. It was perfect and an experience I will always treasure. We are so thankful for Sharon and the entire FV team!

When interviewing different midwives, Sharon was the reason we decided to use Fruitful Vine. She has a team of midwives that are everything you could ask for. I was honored to have Serena and Jess delivery my baby girl, and I wouldn't have asked for a better team. Heather provided me a ton of information to help make decisions. Lori was always a pleasure to talk to. The team provided professional care, and I was provided many options due to my situation. Everyone on staff has a heart to see mom's plan fulfilled. I had an amazing at home birth experience, and I will definitely be using this team for baby number two.

I gave birth with all 3 of my children with the Fruitful Vine. The first two at the birth center and my last at home. The midwives supported and educated me every step of the way without being pushy or passing judgements. They offer professional knowledge but also make it clear its your body and your baby. They knew how to handle any bumps along the way and made sure I was properly cared for. At anytime during birth I felt unsure or unable, they were the biggest cheerleaders to help get me back on track. I recommend working with midwives if possible for an empowering birth experience.

All the Midwives at Fruitful vine are incredible people with big hearts. They make your pregnancy and birthing experience so beautiful and smooth. They are there through every month of your pregnancy journey and go above and beyond in every way. Being able to have a home birth and do everything the natural way is amazing. The midwives are extremely experienced and have delivered hundreds and hundreds of babies. These midwives are so great in helping you know you were made for this, that your body is designed for your baby, that pregnancy is not a sickness, that giving birth is beautiful and YOU can do things naturally. I am beyond blessed that we have such an amazing option for home delivery on the east coast.

My wife and I just had our second child and I have to say this time at home with the midwife service was hands down the most amazing and special birth experience ever. From the very beginning at there office you feel like family. We would look forward to our appointments to see them. Sharon always made my wife feel comfortable, and confident in what we were doing. When the day finally came Our birthing team Serena and Heather made my wife feel confident, comfortable, and strong reassuring her that there was no doubt she could do this. They had all of there tools and supplies neatly organized and easily accessible through the birthing process. We delivered a healthy baby girl and they let us have our time with her until we were ready to do the newborn checkup. After the check up they made sure everything was cleaned up and put in bags and even washed the towels, sheets, and clothes from the birth. If you want to do an all natural birth at home or at a birth center this is no doubt they are the best of the best.

I love Sharon and the whole staff. I love the feel of the place. We are aligned in our birthing beliefs. They took care of me when I was hemorrhaging with my first birth and knew exactly what to do. Ive given birth under Sharon with my 2 kids and hope to have her on call when I give birth to my 3rd in a few weeks.

These ladies are disgusting. They didn't even wash their hands before they checked my sister during her appointment. Not one lady appeared healthy, and the place was dirty and run down. Thank God we found more professional midwives. Make sure you ask to see their certification If you choose to go here.

Lack of professionalism. I'm not going to go into what happened at time of birth with my wife but we had complications. Our son ended up being born in the hospital and they refuse to refund or work with you to make sure you only paid for the services done. We only had 5 appointments and had to pay for a whole package and turned out they weren't qualified enough to birth our son. We are still waiting on our invoice for a refund and it has been far too long with the phone games.

They appear to be nice but in reality it is because they are trying to scam you.
