State Park Not Just Beachy
This is my favorite place (Beach) to go, Personally in Fort Pierce. They do have showers and restrooms. They have gazebos on the Causeway side

There is the Causeway, and then there is the beach side. Weekends are extremely busy! And they do have a capacity limit, so if you wanna go recommend getting there early.

Also Lots more to explore. There is a small entrance fee. But well worth:
Fees:
$6 per vehicle (up to 8 people).
$4 single-occupant vehicle or motorcycle.
$2 pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.
Definitely recommend the annual pass if you’re gonna go often. (6’s visits alone pay for the pass)

Floridastateparks.org go there to check out more, if you’re not familiar. Happy Beaching!

Florida beaches are beautiful anywhere you go. So this was a beautiful beach I would recommend it for families with small children. Or people of any age. This was a beautiful place.

It was a pretty secluded little piece of land. I rented a kayak with my wife and it truly put a strain on our relationship.

Nothing interesting. Just typical beach. Not much around so bring what you need before getting there

Three stars becuse of the homeless. I'm not judging, well I guess I am because I'm marking a selection 1 through 5 on a star chart, but regardless. I was homeless for almost two years and never bothered the public in the inlet or down town. No matter how desperate I was. This isnt a rating so much for the Inlet State Park but much more for the city of Fort Pierce. I love this city, though I wasnt born here, after 26 years I consider her my hometown. Please work on programs to get homeless off the streets. IF my fiance and I decide to go downtown, I always make sure to bring 10 dollars in ones. Which is no problem, I don't mind giving to Folks in that situation at all, but I would like to just go downtown, feed the catfish, hang with my girl and walk around and see the progress being made in the sowntown area withouth being asked for a dollar every 30 feet. Just a suggestion.

Best of both worlds. Hiking trail and Beach. You can enjoy a nice trail less than a mile long that has a variety of foliage (small live oaks, palms, to a rare horned type tree?). Not the longest or most scenic trails in the area, but definitely a great experience. After stretching your legs through the hammock you can enjoy about three different entrances to the beach to cool off, or simply enjoy the views of the inlet, and even catch a glimpse of the jetty accross the way. They even have a kids playground, multiple picnic tables with grills, and public bathrooms for use. It is a about $6 fee per vehicle to get in, but worth the experience for a nice family day outdoors.

Love this park, it's a great place for kids to play and you are right on the inlet so you're on the water as well. Fort pierce does an amazing job in keeping this park clean and up to date. Its always an amazing place to bring your family and unwind and have a good time.

Wonderful beach located inside the park! Explore the area, bring a picnic, or locate a food truck usually on site. We will definitely return.

One of my favorite state parks! Clean bathrooms, multiple shower heads, manicured walkways, and the beaches are always clean! There is plenty of wildlife! Also one of the few state parks open after dark!

Great uncrowded ocean beach. 1/2 mile on Ft Pierce inlet. Several pavilions. What isn't developed, is wild and untouched, the way it should be. Kayak and canoe rental concession. Several islands and estuaries to kayak around. I love it.

There is no question, this undiscovered Wonderland has one of the most beautiful expances of Beach and dunes as you will ever find anywhere in the state of Florida.

Always loved coming out to the Jetty. Just wish ppl would clean up after themselves. Usually it's peaceful out here & has beautiful views of the Ft Pierce inlet & the Atlantic Ocean. A nice little walk & plenty of benches to stop & take it all in.

Great beach for family, its easier for the little kids. Although it is a bit if a walk from the parking lot to the water. And $6 per vehicle seems a bit much, but very well worth it!
