Fuji Sushi Hibachi noodles, Venice FL

We had hibachi chicken, very good and enough for 2 meals.
Coconut shrimp, not great.
Service was ok, not exceptional.
We will go back.

Been here multiple times, and the service and food were amazing. The only negative thing I would say, was they didn't know how to change the TV channel on one of their hanging TV, while showing a classic horror movie, which wasn't appealing during lunch after church.

Fuji has some of the best sushi that I have ever had! Make sure you try the Tamago Sushi and the Lobster Dynamite Roll. Also, the Edamame was a perfect appetizer!

Superb service and excellent sushi. A little heavy-handed with the black pepper on our hibachi, but overall great experience.

This has always been our "go to" sushi restaurant. We took our out of town guests last Monday expecting the same excellent service that we had always received. However, we sat at our table for over an hour waiting for our meal. The waiter was terse and didn't even bring our soups or salads ahead of time. When he did, he brought a salad that had no dressing and was drowning in a brown liquid. When we sent it back, he failed to bring us a replacement. He also never refilled our water glasses. The food, when it finally arrived, was excellent as usual. I hope the management reads this review, because the entire time that we were there and when we voiced our displeasure, there was no manager to be found.

Best Sushi restaurant we've been to in years! We go here weekly to celebrate the end/start of the week and the food and service never fails to be excellent. The waitstaff is always friendly - Abby, in particular, not only knows our schedule, but always has place settings set up for us and always greets us by name! She is well-informed about everything on the menu and even remembers which specialty rolls we have enjoyed (and those that were not enjoyed so much!). The restaurant is clean, well-lit; the food is always fresh, beautiful, and delicious. We have tried most of their specialty rolls - found a few not to our liking but they were nevertheless prepared expertly and tasty in their own right (but just not our cup of tea, so to speak). I highly recommend the Filet Tataki and Gyoza as appetizers and almost any of the specialty rolls (except for those with cream cheese in them because of my own personal taste). Also, their hibachi dinners are prepared very well and presented beautifully. If you go, ask for Abby and you will celebrate dealing with a top notch server!

The food was fresh hot and delicious service was excellent I have been many times never a bad one

Service was kind of slow but I understand it was Sunday night and it was crowded. The food took too long, some other people that got there after us got the food faster. The server was cool, nothing was missing or left behind. Hope next time I go they surprise me and I can give them the 5-star review that I'm sure I'm positive they deserve but we didn't receive this time.

Got in after just 10 minutes, when we were quoted 20.
Server seemed distracted and unattentive. Saw her for order taking, appetizer delivery, dinner delivery and check presentation.
Miso soup was broth and green onions. All food was pretty bland. Wife needed soy sauce on EVERYTHING. My sushi (Venice Fuji Roll) was the special that should have never been. The spicy tuna, salmon and rice was pureed as the filling. That was a VERY unpleasant texture for sushi.
Anyways, I don't feel we will be back.ever.

As a general rule of thumb I only eat sushi at a place that only serves sushi and Japanese food. Thai and sushi or any other food with sushi is a red flag to me that the sushi sucks. But this place was a pleasant surprise. The sushi was nice and fresh.

Except for the squid sashimi - it was not fresh and was actually cooked. Sashimi is supposed to be raw. I don’t think it’s easy to get fresh squid in Florida though. So this probably shouldn’t be in the menu for sashimi in the first place.

We got the sushi platter 10 piece and ordered ikura and eel.

We went the Monday before Valentine’s day and this place was packed. We got there early and saw the place get packed quickly.

Service is slow and could be better. Not attentive and not welcoming or friendly.

They served out sushi in take out containers. When we asked to order more sushi the waitress’ response was “just kill me now”. I laughed it off because it was ridiculous. It’s not good customer service. If you can’t serve sushi and do it right then don’t serve it. The sushi was good and this is close to Venice, so it’s a shame…

Very gluten friendly, just talk to the server. Sushi was wonderful and they have gf soy sauce. Staff is delightful and the food is artistically plated. One of my favorite places!

Very friendly and clean. Yummy food, fast service. We liked everything we ordered. Prices like anywhere else (single simple rolls like California, Philadelphia around $6, fancy rolls $13-16 ish).

Had the sashimi appetizer and added an order of scallop sashimi. Sake was great as was the escolar and snapper. The Tuna was extremely fresh with a nice firm texture. The scallops! OMG! They melt in you mouth with a sweet slightly brine seafood flavor. My favorite. Service was just as awesome as the food. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR SASHIMI LOVERS. You wont be disappointed.
