Our screen room turned out beautiful.thanks to Tom and his assistant. Chris, however, is not a good communicator and our permit was not filed in a timely manner just prolonging the job. The materials were brought to our yard and just sat there for about 3 weeks. We are happy with the end results and the room turned out beautiful, We just weren't happy with the lack of communication.

Had them quote installation of plexiglass panels (end 2019 thru early 2020) to a screened Florida room and installation of a larger doggy door into the existing screen door. They took a deposit and payment upfront for the materials; never completed the job.when I followed up saying I no longer needed the work and would like a partial refund or at least the materials purchased and for labor not performed they agreed. However, multiple attempts at contact failed and now I'm out ~400 dollars with no materials or project completion to show for it.

I worked with Matt at Gainesville Screen and Patio. Very professional, responsive and courteous. The screened porch we had him install looks spectacular! Very pleased.

Chris and his team did a great job on building us a custom porch -screen patio and did it within a couple days!
They poured the concrete and built our job on site.
I highly recommend them to anyone doing a screen patio conversion!

There are a few reliable and trustworthy contractors in Gainesville. I learned the hard way that Chris is not one of them. I also learned it's hard to find a contractor that is willing to come behind and fix another contractor's mess. All I expect from a contractor is to submit permits, get engineering if needed and hire competent subs. Chris promised to do all of that, but failed. First red flag was he didn't want to bother with a contract. Second flag, he told me it was going to cost more because of Covid (we agreed to the work four months prior to Covid). Final straw, the stop work order from the inspector because permits and scope of work had never been submitted. The job was done wrong and he refused to accept responsibility. If this post helps even one person that'll be the silver lining.

I don't hate this business however I have reached out to them on several occasions to get some quotes. After reading the review which was positive I thought I would give them a call but when I called it directed me to leave a message on the email and someone would get back with me and no one returned my calls. ‍️

Been Calling for Months no One came out to even see the job. Even the gentleman that I talked to had No Clue to anything want refer to Anyone

MERRY CHRISTMAS. I had Gainesville Screen and Patio install a screened room for my mom for a Christmas present.we planned it, designed it and had it installed while she was visiting me in sunny AZ.she just got home and saw it and was amazed.thanks for helping make her Christmas merry this year.
