Disappointed with the river-side campground. Beach not maintained. Overall, didn’t get a good feel.

We love Gamble Rogers State Park. Every time we come, the rangers are wonderful, the facilities are Immaculate and the location is just perfect. There is no contest, Gamble is my favorite park of all.

Units north of restrooms on beachside are good for ocean views (see pic, sites 11,13,17,19,21,23). Other sites don't have a beach view.
Dog can walk through gate on south end and go to public beach.
Nothing here besides beach.
Bike path is sidewalk along A1A.
A1A is right next to beach and beachside campsites.
Constant breeze and sounds from ocean.
Beach is fairly steep from hurricane erosion.
Sand is coarse (coquina) but not too shelly.
South of Flagler Beach is state park area with no people -great for beach jog but no dogs allowed.
Have to use boardwalk to access beach.
Restrooms have ramp access to beach and outdoor shower with hose.
Laundry at restroom was out of order but new ones are ordered.
Public day-use access with restroom is on north side of beachside campsite.
Note sun always on south side of camper so best sites are east of access road (beach side) for shade.
Riverside campground is too far from ocean beach and has no Riverside beach, so not a great place unless you need paved campsite.
Beachside campsites are on sand.
No shade for any campsite (beach or riverside).
No privacy at any campsite.
Cell signal is good - 4 bars.
Kayak rentals on river dock.
Short nature trail.
Another state park, North Peninsula, is a couple miles south, with unshaded walking trails.

Best camp site we have ever been- super clean every where; spacious camp site, nice on-site trail, friendly staff, next to the ocean (we stayed at the river side). We look this place

This place is a beauty for sure. The hammock trail was relaxing. The beach is superb as always. And I just love walking around this park and breathing in the fresh air. There's some sort of aura about this place and I absolutely love it! Definitely recommend for a nice weekend getaway or even just a day at the beach!

Love this little state park right between the ocean and intercoastal. Bonus dog beach right out the back gate just off state park property. My pups love running on the beach! They even have doggie bags if you need one. And Flagler is very dog friendly.

Nice stretch of beach. Lots of small shells for collecting and great for fishing. Pet friendly w/ leash.

We LOVE this campground and this beach! We will be coming back anytime we visit the east coast of Florida!
We have camped on both the river & ocean side.
We met very cool people. Felt safe for our kids to ride their bikes. We went for walks.
Love that the beach access is right there. Fell asleep hearing the ocean on the oceanside sites.
A wonderful park!

Fun place. Just pulled over so our grandson could swim. We saw a sand shark so that was super exciting!

Great place to camp. We stayed on the beach side in spot 33. The site was clean and the sand was groomed. The volunteers and camp host were all extremely friendly. Sunrises are awesome from the beach. The beach is literally right there! Just a sand dune separates campers from the beach. The only negative I found was the bathrooms are closed for cleaning at random times between 6am and 9am, which is the busiest time for the bathrooms. Most places close around 10am for cleaning. Be prepared to track alot of sand into your camper or tent. It will all be worth it though. Enjoy!

The beach camp sites are great. There are 2 small areas where the water gathers after rain, but site 15, I believe, was high and dry. Love this place

Stopped in for a quick bathroom break. The view is beautiful, plus I needed to smell the salty air.

My favorite beach location in Flagler. The only draw back, there are only 20 parking spots. So go early, because it fills up fast.

One of our favorite state parks. Camping at the edge of the dunes (if you can get it.) New loop on Intracoastal has more and larger sites. Canoe/kayak rental for cruising or fishing on the Intracoastal. Good birding. Interesting restaurants in nearby Flagler.

Great little park. Not too crowded and very nice beach. I plan to come back and try the camping.
