Garden Street U Pull It reviews
21Clean yard with orderly setup cars. Concrete pads. Need to add pricing list out in the yard. Maybe I missed it. Looks like inventory sits a long time. Worth the stop
Went to the garden Street to pull a wheel bearing that cost 25 bucks on Amazon I come in here killing myself to carry my tools to the car spending over an hour taking part out come to find out it's the same price to order it online, I'm done coming to this 1 star junkyard
I love this place. If you're a car guy, you will understand. I have been buying interior parts to re-furb my old Suburban. Can't beat their prices.
The place is clean, and arranged nicely. Signs show you where vehicles are located.
Sure, they charge you a buck to get in. But, there's bottled water on ice, port-a-crappers, and slop sinks to wash up. Sure beats the "old school" yards.
Great job guys!
Almost forgot. They have an on-line inventory and price list too. Great tool to check if they have the vehicle you're looking for.
The best and cleanest u pull it I've seen! This is the second time I've been here and I will keep coming back
Been here several times. Its a hit and miss but very worth the time to check. When you find what you're looking its definitely a jack pot. Very organized. All the yard is concrete. Vehicles are up high on top of welded rims. Several carts for tolling your goods. Motor jacks for removing heavy items. Their website gives you twice a week updated inventory of their vehicles in the yard. Water and soap at the exit. I recommend this place to any one
Everything is well organized and it's very clean. The prices are amazing. Just remember to bring an ID and wear closed toe shoes.
This is basically a recycling place for all kind of metals. Ferrous and none ferrous. It's a place where they recycle appliances, aluminum, brass and copper and such. I drop steady supplies of old and broken water heaters. The U-pull section is a vehicle section for parts of automobiles. Lots of usufull body, interior, engine, etc.
This is the cleanest U-Pull-It of all of them that I've been at. And the employees are all very courteous and helpful.
If you know what your looking for and can do it yourself, this is the best and cheapest way to get your car back on the road.
I called ahead as there was only one car on the lot that would have worked for what I was looking for, lady on the phone was so nice to try and help me determine whether or not the chances looked good on the parts I needed. I called 5 other yards and they either quickly said no or didn't even have an inventory system. I greatly appreciate the organization! Thank you.
Big selection of cars on blocks on pavement organized by make. Very clean and prices reasonable for parts
It's ok, however, no one around to call for help, no mechanic available to pull parts. In Miami you can paid extra for help.not in Fort Myery
If you call them you make sure they say if they have they part went here was told they had 33 of the item I need get here and it's a dollar to get in and come to find out they dont have a single one of the item I came forecasted time and gas this place is a joke
One of the better U-Pull it. Large selection, concrete ground. No laying in mud. All staff very helpful.
I've never been treated so poorly at a business. I didn't have a driver's license to get into the yard but I did have a government ID. A passport! They wouldn't take that form of ID. My boyfriend went in without me and brought in his broken wipers to compare so he could find same ones inside the yard and they tried to charge him for them as he was walking out. Very unprofessional. Very rude! Highly do NOT recommend this junk yard! They are truly nothing but junk!
Lousy. They would not send an associate out to the yard to verify having the transmission I needed on hand. Just said we have 8 or ten if these trucks. This cost me a month of walking with a bad back and a $400 UHaul truck. I got there, used my walker to get to the Ford F150 area. YEAH! They have TWELVE (12) Ford F150s - ALL MISSING THEIR ENGINES AND TRANSMISSIONS. All 12 stripped with not much left to sell. All 12 trucks picked clean. Wasted my precious time and coin. Nothing worse?
The woman named Lisa who is in charge there is very rude and racist. The way she talks to the customers and even the employees that work there is embarrassing. I feel bad for the workers, I would not want to work in an environment like that. Hopefully the owners get a clue and get rid of that woman. She will do nothing but bring the business down for them.
I've lived here for over 50 years and that's probably the most organized set up of a salvage yard I've ever seen
Always my 1st choice for u pull. Clean and organized. Fair prices, could use more inventory rotation. But I still highly recommend.
I must say u was underwhelmed on my first visit to this salvage yard. It's just like the tens of others I've used so don't expect anything grand or overly nice.
What I liked: Cars were categorized with a wide selection. As another reviewer mentioned the cars are all on concrete so no dealing with weeds or mud. The mosquitoes were horrible though. They have plenty of wheel barrows to load up with parts. They allow you to bring your tools in.
What I didn't like: The chair in my living room has more personality than these guys here. Not helpful and not friendly. Then again, if I worked at a salvage yard as my main job I'd probably have an attitude too, so I guess I can't blame them. While the selection was wide, the choices were limited for anything other than American or Asian vehicles. The German cars they did have were junk.
Summary: Assuming all salvage yards operate the same way, bring your ID, a dollar in cash and wear closed toe shoes and you may find what you are looking for. Don't expect stellar customer service and be aware that the parts you pull may not work properly.
