Ok if you need routine care and don’t mind waiting over a month for an appointment. Find another practice if you are actually ill. Begged for help for months. Was marginalized and ignored. Ended up in the ER.

Disappointed to say the least. Nothing is happening and still very sick. 2 hours to wait for testing. Arrived for the appointment at and after 2 hours it took having a vertigo attack to get into the treatment room.
2 weeks to wait for a biopsy with absolutely no recommendation of what to do for some relief in the meantime! I am sorry, there was a recommendation for tripling up on Metamucil and a bland diet, that was what was already done prior to the doctors visits.
Calling the office for results and appointments, the office staff is rude the doctor is unavailable and while the doctor is nice, he is not helping. Stumped, okay, but when someone has no energy, nothing staying in the digestive system, dehydration, significant weight loss, and testing that shows nothing, except for the tests that won’t be available for 2 weeks, so why can’t something be done for the symptoms Dr Patel?
I understand people become desensitized around real problems, upset and problem patients, but after almost 6 weeks there is no prognosis and nothing has been done to provide some level of relief, this has gone on for too long, and is too exhausting.

First my appointment didn't show on the the reception desk glad I have my paper showing my appointment. When they prepare me for the colonoscopy, this nurse couldn't find my veins and hurt both arm trying to find them. Finally Dr Weis did the colonoscopy. After not water or juice offer.
I was so disappointed!

I felt like I was a lot more than just another person in need of medical assistance. Both the Doctor and particularly the PA were very attentive and made sure all my questions were answered. I'm looking forward to my check up in a month or so

Uneducated doctors. Had to completely advocate for myself and they had no clue on what they even diagnosed me with. EOE should be taken more seriously. I was prescribed better medication from my primary than my specialist. Was recommended over the counter acid reducers when I’m suffering daily from an incurable disease. “I don’t know what to tell you” is not the most encouraging thing to hear from your doctor. Spent thousands of dollars with this establishment and will never set foot in that office again.

I have always had a caring pleasant experience here. All of my questions are answered and concerns are handled. I recommend going to G. A. Of SW FL.

Dr Salami is my superhero! He was able to complete a difficult surgical procedure that was unable to be done by my GI docs here. Went up to my GI docs in Virginia and due to a very twisted anatomy of the common bile duct, was unable to find a specialist comfortable to do it there, also. Was referred to Dr Salami and he very matter of factly assured me he could get it done. He is well respected by his peers. The whole procedure was a breeze. A brilliant, talented doctor and seems to be a nice guy, too!

This is the worst Doctor's office to call NO ONE EVER Picks up the PHONE the phone rings and rings or goes into the music on hold and you sit there for 20 minutes and still no one picks up the phone. HORRIBLE!

I was extremely pleased with the Doctor & staff of this office. Very clean, friendly, and the Doctor took time to listen to me and answer my questions. I highly recommend them.

Horrible people! I told Dr Hazan that we appreciated all what he has done but we can come to Fort Myers because of the traffic. Two days later we get registered letter stating we can’t come to him any more.

Excellent service and care from this practice. Listen to your concerns and keep you informed of results from tests, exams, etc. Keep on top of any problems you may have

I want to send special commendations to these three individuals for making my first visit much more pleasant than I could have hoped for. First, thanks to Natalie, who went above and beyond when helping me with registration. Next, thanks to Dania, who friendliness put me at ease in the waiting room. Finally, to PA James Torrico, who thoroughly and clearly explained my condition and possible treatments. He also has a great sense of humor, making him relatable. He is a consummate professional whom I trust without reservation. I appreciate the efforts of these outstanding staff members.

Always have great experience with Gastroenterology Associates Drs, PAs and staff. Glad this office was referred to me.

I felt I could have been treated better, once the doctor found out I smoked medical marijuana he stopped looking for problems and settled with that was my problem when it was the only thing helping me feel better and so I was still living in pain with no answers and I had to see and 2nd doctor to start to actually get help and feel better.
