Zoo Gatorama Inc. reviews
16Interesting place. 4 stars due to the price; $20 per person. Lots of alligators and crocodiles. Knowledgeable staff. Follow the signs boys and girls.keep your hands to yourself!
I had gone to Gatorama a few weeks ago with 3 of my sons. My boys ages range from 3-4. They had a phenomenal time, as did I. I paid for them to have the extra experience of holding a baby alligator and feeding a tortoise. They were very thrilled and are still talking about holding the “dinosaurs” and alligators.
There were some other animals there. Some that aren’t common to the area, others are native to the area but are rare, which was neat.
They have a nice little play area for young children. They will get dirty but having anxious boys, they loved it.
And finally, to the very nice young lady who cooked me my first alligator sausage, thank you very much! It was incredible! Anyone who wants to try something new and unusual, I suggest you try the alligator sausage and alligator ribs. I’ve lived in Florida fo a long time and have eaten alligator before but never as a spicy sausage or gator ribs. Definitely a rare delicacy.
You can spend several hours here. The staff is very friendly and the grounds are clean and the animals appear to be well cared for.
Definitely worth the time and money for at least a one time visit, but we will be back. Thank you all again.
We brought a friend from Russia to see Gatorama and she was amazed. She especially liked the feeding time. More power to the woman who was trained to hand feed those gators- WOW!
I thought the 1 star review by a northerner complaining about being in a swamp in summer is just hilarious. When I lived in Okeechobee, I had an annual pass here for a few years. I think the place is great. Yes, it’s no Gatorland zoo in Orlando but it’s definitely awesome!

Avida food truck was awesome. The gator tail, fries, swamp nachos were great. Made to order, fresh food.
The encounters with the alligators and turtles were very hands on!
I love it here. It’s our in the middle of nowhere but so much fun to go for an afternoon to break up our week. Everyone is super nice and the gators are HUGE! Me and my girls love to feed them
We had a great time! Everyone is very nice and easy to talk to about any questions you have. The shows are informative and fun for all ages. I found the place to be very clean and in order. The animals are happy and healthy. Very well done. We'll definitely be back again. So much fun.
The place is great, very safe environment my kid's had lots of fun, all the staff was awesome except for the lady on the cash register she was very unprofessional, other then that this place is awesome
What a cool experience. Gatorama has a super friendly staff. From the ticket sales to the shows it was a vool experience. We really enjoyed the self guided tour of the animals. The enclosures alone are worth the price of admission, but there were also shows to see. Cody was entertaining and full of facts and comedy as he fed the gators and put on the experiences. This place is do much more than just gators. Well worth the money. Also, a huge shout out to the owners for the Veterans discount. I never expect a discount, but I am truly grateful for businesses that offer it. Overall it is very family friendly and safe for all ages from young to old. We will definitely be back.
Had a blast. Avida made the best food and she keeps everything so clean. Everything I tasted was so good will definitely be visiting her again.
Justin put on a really good show at noon. Not too crowded. A little too zoo-like with the added animals in small enclosures.
What an absolutely wonderful experience. It felt very intimate and very connected to all of the alligators, crocodiles and other wildlife at the facility. The handler who was the speaker for the feeding was very knowledgeable quite comedic at times! After driving past this place for the last 2 months I’m glad I finally went! Was very nice being at a family run business and not a corporate owned theme park.
Fun place to take kids to feed the gators and to actually hold them. Had a blast taking my daughter and watching her feed the gators and watching them scramble to the food pellet being tossed
This is a small gator farm that is a nice visit. If you go make sure that you get to see the live feeding. My favorite time is at the end of August. That's when you have a chance to hatch a baby alligator, additional fee.
We absolutely love this place! We bring all of our visitors here and they always want to come back on their next visit! The staff is amazing and go out of their way to work with the youngsters.
Super fun. Ive been coming here since I was a kid. I’m 24 now. Definitely recommend bringing your kids along because they’ll be thrilled.
