Gaudin Kitchen + Bar reviews
6Generous portions. Very tasty and unique. The staff is so friendly. The quinoa salad with extra homemade dressing is so good. The steak medallions were perfect. Can't wait to eat there again.
I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience during my visit to Tampa at the Barrymore hotel, where my cousin Salina works. The evening at the hotel's restaurant, Gaudin Kitchen + Bar, was truly unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, the warm hospitality from Salina and the rest of the staff made us feel right at home.
The ambiance of the restaurant was very relaxed and inviting. As we perused the menu, we were excited by the diverse selection of dishes that catered to various tastes and dietary preferences. We settled on nachos for appetizers and salmon for our entrees.
The food itself was a true masterpiece. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. We savored every bite and cleaned our plates. The flavors were a delightful fusion of quality ingredients creating a unique and memorable culinary journey.
The service was top-notch, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who were more than willing to offer recommendations and ensure our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.
All in all, my visit to Gaudin Kitchen + Bar at the Barrymore hotel was a highlight of my trip. The combination of delectable cuisine, attentive service, and the joy of sharing the experience with family made it an evening I'll cherish for a long time. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Tampa, and I'm grateful to Salina for introducing me to such a delightful culinary gem.
We were staying at the Barrymore Hotel for a few days in Tampa last November and early on discovered this amazing restaurant in the lobby named Gaudin's. They were still in the soft stage of opening at that time and were not even listed in Yelp. Nevertheless, we thought we would try them for brunch and eat in our room. It was a quick ride downstairs to their cozy restaurant. We noticed that they were also serving dinner later. We grabbed a menu for our room.
We were really surprised at how big our brunch box was. Gaudin's doesn't skimp on their servings. They serve generous portions. In our Brunch Box were honey waffles, turkey sausages, quiche, scrambled eggs, toast, fruit, a fruit parfait with berries, breakfast potatoes with caramelized onions and other chopped veggies. I may have missed something. Oh yeah, the mocha lattes. Everything was so delicious that we ordered from them a couple of times more. Why go anywhere else when the best is a short trip downstairs?
Our server was Tiffany, who was a delight! Very friendly and helpful.
You can park for free in the big hotel parking lot. They are located in Downtown Tampa and are easy to find. There is wheelchair accessible parking as well as entrance. Go to your left after you enter the hotel. There were booths and tables and a bar.
When we are in Tampa next time, we will definitely stop in again!
This was our first time here and WE WILL BE BACK! Sam ROCKS and makes the best Margarita I have had outside of my own! And her smile is so welcoming! Highly recommend!
This place has the best staff, great food, and a nice vibe. As a Tampa local I’ll definitely be back!
Bartender was excellent. Although I wanted a cocktail that used egg whites (Paperplane) that they can't do, she did a good job of crafting another cocktail that included some of my favorite ingredients.
The music being played over the speakers would be great for a pumping dance bar but not good for the early evening cocktail hour. (5 to 7).
The food ordered from the kitchen was spot on and surprisingly good. Expecting to receive a mediocre meal, we were very pleased! Definitely recommend the Stout Buger. The Ceasar had an unusual spin with the addition of a garnished balsamic glaze drizzle.
Overall a good experience except for the piped-in music.
