Gen Spa, Pompano Beach FL

I Went for my first massage, Gen was amazing! Not only did I get a massage, she helped me heal my plantar fasciitis pain (heel pain). I could barely walk when I arrived, and I left with almost no pain! You must go try this wellness spa, for natural pain relief! It’s AMAZING!

This was my first time visiting this spa. Gen is VERY experienced and uses a different pressure technique that I had never experienced. She was able to release the tightness up through the left side of my neck and trapezius/shoulder. She was the first to identify that it was actually radiating down from my left jaw (TMJ). I highly recommend her. It’s obvious this is her passion. My facial was also an amazing experience and I’ll definitely return annually when we come to Pompano for vacations!

Generosa was extremely accommodating to give me a treatment on short notice over a holiday weekend before my flight home. (Her spa is a 15 minute drive to Fort Lauderdale Airport.) She is an experienced and skilled masseuse, and effectively helped my muscles untighten and relax. After a 90 minute massage I felt refreshed and ready for a cross-country trip. Due to delays and an unplanned stop, the flight was longer than expected, and yet my body managed the added stress well thanks to Generosa’s massage. Just like her name implies, she is a generously nurturing person, and I am happy to recommend Generosa.

Gen has done a wonderful job helping with some of the issues my body has. She listened, and then recommended instead of doing the massage I chose that another would be better, and she was 100% correct. After the first session I felt better, and it’s getting better every time. I strongly recommend going to visit Gen as life is too short to not feel 100%! Thanks Gen!

Yes indeed! Get into it! We were visiting the area during a Bachelorette Weekend and started the line up for massages with the Beautiful Bride, and completed our group massage over a 2 day period. Gen and her staff were very personable, asked questions before and during the session, and made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. Whether you feel tension in your back, neck, knees, etc, this lady works magic (and feet on your spine, if you need that). I most definitely dozed off and might have even snored a tad. You may choose to get serviced in your birthday suit or as comfortable as you'd prefer. My recommendation is to shower before arrival, wear very loose fitting clothing that can be easily lifted if you've prefer some clothing. Just know that oil and lotion will be used. The scalp massage was unexpected, but very much needed. It's not something that we humans think about that often, but the brain needs some soothing too. Pickup some light snacks on the way out. For the Deerfield location, try calling ahead, because as far as I can remember, they are located on the 2nd floor of a building that remains locked. Cash or card or Venmo accepted. But the location in Pompano has parking directly at the entrance and you walk right in for service.

Went back again last week for "cavitation" treatment. I had never heard of it, but tummy fat is stubborn to lose, so I tried it. It was worth it! I have noticed a reduction of tummy fat, it's flatter and appears to have shrunk about a 1/4 inch. My pants aren't as tight. It did something good! With continued exercise and a healthy diet I hope it continues to shrink.

Gen listens and recommends what’s best based on your situation. She really cares and wants the best for you and your body. I’m really thankful for her treatment and the wisdom she shared with me. I went in thinking I needed one type of massage which she let me know right away it would not help with the type of pain I was experiencing. She could have easily just did what I asked and took my money. I will be visiting her whenever I come back to the area and recommending her to others.

We were in town for a bachelorette weekend and wanted massages for 5. The owner, Gen was very accommodating and worked around all of our weekend plans. The level of customer service she provided was exceptional! Then there was the massage, by far the best I’ve ever received. She was so attentive to my pressure points and relieved a headache I had all weekend. She is truly passionate about her craft and has healing hands.

I had my first mircodermabrasion facial with Val yesterday, and it was amazing! She was so sweet and able to answer all of my questions. My skin felt so amazing afterwards and still feels great today. I will definitely be going back again.

When I am vacationing, I love to find a great local SPA to get some much needed pampering done for myself. I contacted her a week before coming and she was still able to fit me in to her busy schedule. I am so thankful she was able to!

The services I received were phenomenal! I was able to try new procedures that I'd never had done before, along with my usual full body massage and facial. Gen is super, super knowledgeable about what she does, how to do it, and why she's doing it! A lot of other places just have technicians running machines. Gen shows her knowledge of the body and natural health as she goes by explaining different things that she's learned and experienced herself. But don't just take her word- she always wants you to do your own homework to find what works for YOUR body!

More specifically about the services, I received a cavitation procedure on my stomach first. It basically uses sound/vibrations to break down fat. THIS is what you want to do instead of a tummy tuck! No cutting or knives involved! My tummy is the worst part of my body and I'm so surprised just after the first procedure how much it shrank! Legit, got smaller! I'm going to find a local person closer to me to continue the process!

Another great service to get is the scalp massage with an amla oil treatment and then a shampoo/conditioner with biotin to stimulate my scalp. I had my babies 15 months ago and I'm still struggling with post partum hair thinning! A natural treatment to stimulate my scalp seems like a perfect way to help!

But if you're just looking for something as simple as a massage or facial, Gen's your lady. As I said before, she is very attentive and will focus on you as a person. She genuinely cares about people and natural healing!

My husband and I got a massage by gen and Stephan and they were amazing. My husband lifts heavy items all day so he has really bad back pain gen took the time to ask questions while giving the massage so she was able to concentrate on his problem areas. He left there feeling great. I didn't really have any problem areas but Stephan applied the right amount of pressure and It was very relaxing. They definitely got us as repeat customers.
