Ghost Key West / Robert the Doll Ghost Tour reviews
15Dan is the man, awesome tour guide, he deserves a raise! We had a great time and enjoyed the experience. Can’t wait to come back!
I took lots of pictures of Robert the doll and of the fort. But unfortunately, I got dumped off a jet ski and my phone was ruined. Maybe it was Robert the doll who knows.
Was a fun tour with some awesome stories! We did the extra hour after and it definitely wasn't long enough. We didn't have anything happen or see any paranormal stuff but I think that was due to the group I was with. Would of rated 5 stars had we of witnessed something. Other than that it was really fun!
Dan was amazing from start to finish! He is very knowledgeable about the history of the space. I most definitely recommend getting the VIP experience. It allows you to explore so much more of the fort and interact with its permanent residents.
Amazing experience! We continued with the VIP experience, and it was worth every penny! We got some great paranormal evidence we are still going through and processing. You must visit!
The VIP experience was worth every penny. I showed up one day too early and Daniel was kind enough to let me move my VIP experience then and there. Greatly appreciated! As for Daniel, he was a fantastic and enthusiastic tour guide who you could tell has an enormous passion for the paranormal in a manner that felt genuine and not at all put upon or hokey. He had a plethora of knowledge and a willingness to engage with guests and hear their stories and experiences, as well as tell his own afterwards. Truly! Truely loves his job. Same goes for Lilith, who also had a ton of gumption and made the experience also quite memorable.
Its definitely worth it to go for the VIP experience, as you can explore the grounds freely for an hour without a chaperone to sight see, commune with the spirits, and capture apparitions, ect. Plus, they provide plenty of the necessary tools to do so be it a pendulum, electromagnetic readers, Ouiji boards, and other ghost hunting tools.
My only small complaint is that I wish at the end of the tour, especially during the night tour, they'd turn on more "house lights" in the room where Robert is showcased to make it easier for the guests to take clearer pictures with him.
Had a balst!
Absolutely loved the tour! Had a great time! Would 100% recommend! Travis was a great tour guide and scared me too! (always a plus) If I ever come back to Key West I would do it again and do the VIP tour
Had a great time with my wife who loves ghost tours. Recommend the vip experience as you get to do a lot more in the fort. They have great scary challenges to do around the fort.
This place was amazing. Highly recommend to take the doll seriously, though. I felt such a presence being in this building and had a great time learning about the history and the stories that surround this building and the things inside. An absolute MUST do when visiting the keys! The tour guide is both dedicated and knowledge. I can't wait to do this again!
Thought the tour was very expensive given that we walked down one hallway then went into the room with Robert the doll.
Liked that it was interactive and several people in our group could participate with trying to capture paranormal activity. But half of the tour was spent on this instead of history and ghost stories. The stories given were very captivating.
Overall it was underwhelming. Maybe if we upgraded to VIP it would have been better but I felt $45 was alot already, to pay an extra $40 to do some additional activities is exorbitant.
We had a great time on the tour and the vip tour was also amazing we had such a great time I can't wait to do it again
We decided to check out the ghost tour and was really enjoyed it. My girlfriend is a Robert the doll fanatic and we enjoyed the fact how engaging it was, how we got to participate in it and how eveyone got to have fun with it. The way the tour flowed from one area to another with different rooms, sections of the fort and artifacts where very thought out.
This was such a fun and spooky experience, there was a lot of real ghostly activity throughout our time here. We got to use ghost hunting equipment and David gets everyone involved, he was great. I definitely recommend the Count con Cosel book in the gift shop, I couldn’t put it down.
I brought my nieces, nephews, cousins and adults to the tour. Kids were 11-16 years old. WOW I have never seen everyone so engaged for that length of time, jaws dropping, learning history and being able.to participate in the ghost hunt in this very historic and haunted fort. This is for all and worth every $, really was more than we expected and David was amazing. We talked all about it still the next day. What a blast! This needs to be on everyone's list!
