I spent 5 days and 4 nights here on the primitive camp site to the east of the entrance, absolutely beautiful place. We were here for the cave diving experience.it was more than worth it.words cannot explain the beauty of the caves that are under this park.if you are an experienced diver you should not miss out on this gem, the water around the springs is crystal clear, the Santa Fe River itself is pretty murky and rather shallow. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I'll be back next year!

We came here to stay for two days but it was such a great experience that we stayed for another one. The view was incredible while kayaking. The water was spectacular. Biscuit (one of the staff) was so kind to us. He gave us great information about the springs and assisted us with our camp fire. We are definitely going to come back!

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience! Loud music and party until literally 5 Am. We got no sleep and no rest. Loud music from all directions and every campsite is t competing to have the most obnoxious loud music. No regard for anyone. No rules enforced. I have never camped anywhere like this where other campers are so inconsiderate. The staff at the front desk told us this is a party springs and it’s not for anyone who is looking for calm and nature. We should have took that seriously and left when we could. But we decided to give it a shot. Both at 2 am and 3 am loud booms from empty gas tanks being thrown into the fire (I suppose) sounded like explosion. Imagine bringing your kids to a camping trip here. The most horrifying experience ever. Do yourself a favor and SKIP this place if you’re looking for a traditional camping experience. This is not advertised but the staff will tell you if you ask that this is a party place. We will never go back. It saddens me because the springs are beautiful. If you’re going there for the day you should be fine but dare not to camp as you will definitely regret it.

I love the springs but hate how it's managed. Drove 3 hours to meet my sister there for Thanksgiving and they turned me away for having my pet ferret in my car in a travel cage. They have a no pet rule which is fine but it's Thanksgiving and I obviously didn't know that. My ferret is an inside animal and wasn't coming out of the car she would stay inside in the AC the whole trip, but they made me take her home. Totally understand it's their right to turn me away but totally not cool.

Drove three hours to be told we couldn’t even check in after having issues with them all day. Now I have to drive another 3 hours back home and then 3 more tomorrow just to talk to the owner about a possible solution. Not acceptable at all. Myself nor my family will not be doing our family get aways here anymore after this absolute terrible display of service.

The best camping adventure I've ever had. Ginnie Springs offers so many things from tubing, paddle boarding, kayaking on the river an even fishing as long as it's not in the main springs. Drinking is perfectly fine anywhere as long as your 21 an can respect the property. All of the staff riding around is super friendly an helpful on any kind of questions you have about areas an what you can an cannot do. Be safe an enjoy some of the nicest water in Florida

The springs are GORGEOUS! It’s $15 per person for daily admission. I can’t wait to go back and enjoy the whole day there next time

Absolutely horrible. The springs are beautiful but the camping experience was just awful. Noisy and loud and rude campers. We planned for months. Spent a ton of money on food. Three families took off work for three nights. First night drunks everywhere. LOUD MUSIC. Til 2AM. It was miserable. One of our families went to a hotel. We decided to leave the next morning. Our long awaited trip was cut short because of rudeness and lack of respect for other campers. My husband even stopped a fight outside of our tent area. We are so bummed and disappointed. The manager did refund us for two nights - that was the highlight. I would totally NOT recommend this place to camp if you are looking for a quiet peaceful experience. Visit the springs for the day maybe. I gave one star for the springs. Zero for the camping. Bathrooms were old and dirty btw.

There is so much to do here! We went later in the afternoon, but once we got there we were wishing we had all day, if not multiple days to enjoy everything. We still had plenty of time to snorkel & see all of the springs. We will definitely visit again!

Really beautiful springs and happy I got to see them but would not recommend the campground at all. Overpriced ($140 for 2 people for 2 nights) and the facilities are run down, filthy, trash everywhere including in the spring. On the first night, we heard more burnouts in the parking lot than we do living in downtown Atlanta at 4am. We saw no staff besides the front gate and shop, and there appeared to be no security or anything. Also no shuttles upstream for tube/kayak rentals despite them having the funds to do so if they charge that much for a campsite. Just really really sketchy vibe, added to with vultures that fly around vacant areas of the park. Would be cool to check out as part of a day trip alongside other springs in the area, but would recommend camping somewhere else. It’s a shame because this place could be so much more, especially with how much they charge for admission!

Lots of campsites, 30 per person if camping, swim, diving in crystal clear water. Explore caves, go out on River and float down on rafts. Yes there is alligators but they don't come around during the day.

This place has the WORST customer service. I’ve visited and camped at the springs multiple times and leave even more disappointed the next. I vowed I would never go back, but with my mother wanting to see the springs I made the exception. Big mistake. I understand the 48 cancellation policy as I had to cancel my last day on a previous trip and luckily it was within the time frame. Fast forward 5 months and still no refund has showed up. I finally just said forget it and booked again. I had a severe circumstance come up as I was traveling (4 hrs.) to get there and could not make the trip. I called and said I do not want a refund, but just to reschedule for next week once I am able to get a new car and travel again. The guy told me it was no problem and he could transfer me to the reservation room so he can change it. Midway through booking a new date, I get put on hold and suddenly it’s “actually my manager said we can’t do it, so the reservation will have to stay open today and it’ll just say no call no show”. After I politely try and talk to her, she is absolutely no help at all. Just a condescending manger who tries to be so happy and oh so sorry for everything. I finally just decide to have my mother who lives three hours from there take my reservation and go there. After one more tussle they change the name and she can come. Problem solved right? Wrong. They rush to drive 3 hours to get there as they said do not be any later than 5. Once they get there they are then told they can’t check in! At this point all I want is a refund and to never visit this place again. Just beware of the poor customer service!

We got there around 11: 30 am after a 2 hr trip to t other Springs next to them n they had gotten to capacity, so we waited until 1pm like other Springs does and we saw more than 11 cars leave but t Ranger never came n open t park so, we ended up at Ginnie Springs where they charge u $20 per person for a few hrs to grill. It looks like it's nice for camping, we just went for t day.

Great place for craven/cave divers. I would personally avoid this place at all cost in the weekend. Lady at the front desk told me they don’t do air fills here? Strange. Still a great place to dive the visibility is incredible

Stayed and camped overnight in November. Went during a week day and it was very empty, maybe a total of 5 campers. Very quiet and staff was very nice and helpful. Felt like they were eager to answer my questions. Did not notice any security driving at night, and all other campers were respectful of the noise ordinance. The camping sites are close together, so I can see this place getting packed on the weekends. However, for 25$ per person per night, my fiance and i were able to have an extremely peaceful time camping. I feel it is definitely worth the money for a small party. Springs is cold, but beautiful. Recommend getting in and dealing with the cold. Bring your snorkels!
I was shocked to read some of the negative reviews considering how amazing my time here was. It's definitely a well known spring, but if you can make it here on the weekdays, it sure is magical

I was super disappointed. We came to kayak and see the spring. Just so you know, they give you keys to unlock your kayak. You then bring it to the water and when you get back you will have to do the same. We were just out into the river when my paddle to my oar fell off mid row. I had to use it as a single paddle to get back. On way back we noticed my son’s kayak was taking on water and starting to sink. What a hard time we had just to get back where we started with the current and the wind and a sinking kayak and a broken oar. So we get back and spend a great deal of time trying to empty the kayak of water. We haven’t been gone long and take the keys to ask for a refund and were only refunded for one kayak when we had 4 singles and a tandem. That we didn’t even get to take out because of the unsafe circumstances! And the lady treated us like we were the problem. Super poor customer service! And super unsafe equipment they had there!
