Pizza Restaurant Giordano's reviews
10 The food took forever. Our server was very nice, however his english was extremely limited so it was a bit difficult to asks questions, and basically just says yes or no without real understanding. Our food took nearly an hour to come out, so if this is a place you're looking for a quick meal, it might not be your best option. But it could be just us that got slow service. There was a large party of 6+ seated at the other end and they got their food before us, which was only a party of 2.
We had order the mozzarella tringles, which was supposed to be a house made mozzarella but what came out was not "housemade mozzarella" nor "triangles" like listed on the menu, rather they were standard frozen mozzarella sticks. We were told that they do not use fresh mozzarella and it was all processed, but then again i don't know if the server truly understood us when we asked.
Then we ordered a small classic deep dish plain cheese pizza. The taste was not great. Sauce was dry on top. The dough tasted like freezer burn. The cheese tasted on stale refrigerator aroma.
We also ordered the fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken and broccoli, we barely ate half the dish, barely a quarter. The chicken looked of chopped factory grilled chicken, spongy and artificial. The sauce was barely there too. It was mostly dry pasta. Whatever the sauce was, tasted more like the cheap $1 knorr side packets of alfredo, which is basically pasta water.
The atmosphere is nice, and the server was nice but the food was not good at all or of the expected from what is hyped on their instagram and online menu.
We were thrilled to find a Chicago deep dish staple like Giordano's here in Orlando during vacation. With some mixed reviews we decided the good out weighed the bad. I called, twice, to ask questions and both times staff was helpful and courteous. Website ordering was simple and intuitive. I requested to be contacted about where to meet the driver at our resort and not only did the driver call but was super friendly. Our pizza was as expected and had a great packaging to protect it. The pizza was warm and delicious.just the right bite to that sauce like in Chicago. Thanks!
Ate there 20 yrs ago and it was awful.decided to try again cause KFC was closed and pizza hut was 30 minutes wait.so ordered a cheese pizza with chicken and cheese and it was still awful.crust was super hard and taste.never again
First time having a deep dish pizza and it was definitely worth the wait. And I mean that literally. It's a 45 minute wait for deep dish pizzas but it was good. They also offer alternatives to the traditional pork or beef options so it was really good to have an option other than cheese or just a veggie pizza.
Excellent Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. The restaurant was open and spacious with excellent lighting. The dining room and bathrooms were extremely clean. The house salads, chicken Alfredo and deep dish pizza was all outstanding
The service was excellent for the entire meal. I appreciated the attention to detail given by our waiter.
It’s located behind the WaWa in the strip mall. Excellent place to have dinner.
I hadn't been back here since CEO in 2015 I think, bit ever since CV-19, I made it a priority to head back down to O-Town to revisit.
Giordano's is the place for some quality and I mean QUALITY pizza. I brought people here who will be talking about it for the rest of their lives.
Deep dish was worth it then, and is STILL worth it today.
The food is very very good. It took a half hour to receive my small deep dish pizza to go. I think they should advise the customer beforehand of the wait. There are some obscure signs but a verbal warning before placing the order would be best.
Stephanie was great. Food was great. Really great. Great vibe. Handled our petulant snarkyness like champs. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back here the next time we’re in Orlando.
Pizza was good. Getting it out the door and to us was not. Ordered a pizza at 8: 35pm and finally received it at 10: 50! Had to call twice and they offered a discount but it wasn't. Would not recommend ordering from here unless you go in person.
Pretty good pizza. We got the thin crust which was the thickness of a regular pizza. This was our first time trying this pizza and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
