One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant. The waiters were very unprofessional. Everyone was very disorganized, and it was impossible for the food to arrive at the table properly. And to top it off, the place is super expensive. In short, I do not recommend it at all.
First time in our lives that me or my husband have asked to speak to the manager of a restaurant, and they didn't even bring them because he was "too busy. " We told them twice that our friend had a severe nut allergy, then they brought us the wrong dish - with nuts! We were there for a 30th birthday and asked more than three times for them to bring a candle, nothing. We were sat an hour and a half late and they didn't even comp our chips and guacamole. Worst waitress I've ever had in my entire life. Didn't even ask if we wanted dessert. We did. To top it off I watched another waitress use the bathroom without washing her hands while I was in line!
After dinner we went upstairs to get a drink at the rooftop after dinner to try to salvage the night and it was being shut down at 12: 30 Art Basel weekend? Another person told us it was because someone from the restaurant management got in a fight with someone on the DJs team… so sloppy and disappointing from start to finish.
We had such a good time here, started at the rooftop and worked our way down to the outdoor patio area. Erci was a dream, she was so sweet and accommodating. Also had a great experience with Tony, he was on top of his game, and attended everyone like a pro.
Fue un tremendo placer, y ustedes hicieron la experiencia mucho mejor de lo que esperaba, gracias.
We had a reservation for 10: 45 and we arrived at 10: 50 but we were told that the kitchen was closed. It is very disappointing and very unprofessional to have available time for registration and the kitchen close before it. I WISH I could give them minus 5 stars
I've been to Mexico City, Cancun, and Los Cabos and I can say I had the best salsa at Gitano. The flavors from the salsa were excellent as well as the guacamole. The skinny margaritas were well mixed and absolutely delicious
Looking forward to dining here soon.
Everything delicious! The mushroom sope was the best I had in a long time, chef Antonio a genius! I will definitely always come back
Over priced small plates with slow service and a menu only for adventurous eaters. It doesn’t get much worse than this!
Overpriced $21 for a rail vodka soda. Absurd! If the staff was only nice which wasn’t my experience. Would avoid.
Fascinated by the bison and waygu meatballs, delicious, they reminded me of those made by my grandmother. Thank you Gitano Miami!
While in Miami, Gitano is a definite "must-go" destination! We absolutely adored every moment of our stay, especially during the after-hours cocktails and music, which lived up to expectations. The cocktails were incredibly delicious, the atmosphere was friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting other guests.
Everything we had was delicious- especially the shrimp tacos. Service was wonderful - all staff were especially friendly.
Lili! She is amazing, super professional, nice, kind and going extra mile for costumer. I will definitely come back to gitano.
Wonderful food with amazing service, staff were welcoming and had lots of knowledge of the food that was being served. The chef came to our table and asked about our experience. Very very nice in general 10/10, would really recommend.
I just eat at this restaurant, and I am a huge foodie. I am from out of town and would go to restaurants to eat authentic cuisine and it’s literally my past time. I cannot tell you how out of this world the food here is. I never review, but I just had to because of how amazing it - they have a guac in-house that slightly spicy, which taste so amazing! Their lamb - the juice and taste is out of this world but my favourite is the shrimp tacos. With every bite I got goosebumps because I could not believe how good something can taste. The service was amazing and I got to meet the chef Antonio. What an amazing place I cannot wait to come back! You
We were looked after by Sofia, and she made sure we had the best experience at Gitano! She recommended dishes that were delicious and original, and went out of her way to get us drinks made the proper Mexican way! She catered to all our needs and delivered an exceptional service (in perfect Spanish and English). Overall, this is a great place with really good food and professional, knowledgeable and friendly staff!
The chicken had a lot of fat, the churros were extremely hard and dark, unusual if you are used to Spanish churros. Cocktails were very good, and the food was edible, but totally overpriced.
Antonio is the best chef in the World! I highly recommend Gitano. After dinner upstairs is a vibe with great music!
