Glasses 2Day @ Citrus Vision, Inverness FL

Attempted to get an appointment for new glasses. Filled out and turned in all pre registration paperwork with all my information on it. They were waiting on my records from previous MD so I waited 2 1/2 weeks for them to tell me they couldn't see me because I've had laser surgery in the past and dry eye. This information was provided to them prior to theses records. Also you can't talk to a person other than texting

This is not just an eye glass place to pick out eye wear and sunglasses. They have the state of the art equipment to capture the current status of your eyes. I saw 3D scans of my eyes and was in awe.
Susie was our Eyewear technician. She was very knowledgeable about the type of glasses that worked best for me. Fishing sun glasses, "progressives vs lined bi-focals" and she refurbished my current eye glasses, so I could see much better.

If you have great eyes, this is the place to have them checked. But you could do the same at Walmart and not be funneled into high pressure sales on frames.
Once you have a hint of an issue you will be dropped, no referrals just we can’t see you any longer.
So maybe save money and go to Walmart or Target …
Very disappointed in receiving a text explaining that they couldn’t see me because I have cataracts.

Very disappointed. They received my daughter’s records weeks ago yet waited for our appointment to tell us they wouldn’t see the kids due to their prescriptions. Wasted my time. Wasted a day off of school. Now we have to find a new dr and start again. Very frustrating. They need better communication.

Friendly staff, eye exam was thorough and clean office and lobby.thought it was a new building!

Dr. Cook is awesome. He is obviously excellent at what he does. Great exam, latest technology in eye exams / Retinal health. His team was professional, accommodating, pleasant and thorough. I HIGHLY recommend Citrus Vision. Bought 2 pairs of Premium glasses. Buy Local - also, their prices were BETTER than online.

Dr Cook, Val (the office manager) and staff have always been excellent to us! They've listened to what our needs are and helped us find the right pair of glasses. Whether for playing in the sun, working at a computer all day, driving or working in a factory, they've always found great solutions!

Pro Tip: It's a terrible business practice to make new patients fill out paperwork and send it back before you schedule an appointment. Then to be told that you cannot see us one because I have headaches which is common when you stare at a computer screen all day.

And as a VSP Premier provider, I would assume that you have a doctor that could handle somebody that has watery eyes.

Basically what you're telling me is you only see people to sell them eyeglasses. You don't do exams or you're only qualified to handle basic exams? It's very misleading. And complete waste of someone's time to fill out paperwork all for you to let them know that you can't see them.

We were looking for basic eye exams, we are both under 45 and typically have a once a year eye exam.

We had a great experience with all the staff members. Everyone was polite, friendly answer all our questions in full details. If you have a chance reach out to Susan. Susan was so nice and helpful she made our experience much better, helping us (my daughter, wife and I) pick our new pair of. We paid out of pocket and the price was great for the services we received.

Best experience with an eye doctor I've ever had! Great job, they care about the needs of their patients, and their tech is second to none! Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and patient! Love not having to be dialated!

I absolutely recommend Citrus Vision, the staff is very friendly, Dr. Cook is excellent, and the eye exam is the best I ever had.

I want to take a moment to recognize Valerie and her optical team. I recently purchased three pair of glasses from Citrus Vision Clinic. I purchases the glasses that are made on-site and ready in just a few days. I am proud to say that the service was amazing and each pair of glasses are perfect. I was pleased with selection of frames but again I will say the personal service was impeccable.

Fantastic customer service! The receptionist was very sweet and walked you through each machine with simple instructions given politely. The doctor was kind and very informative, gave a bit of history/technical understanding of glasses and the machine that views your eye. He seemed very passionate about his field! My eye exam, frame selection, measurements, and payment all in 50minutes!

One of the most detailed exams you will ever receive. Dr has a wonderful personality and the staff is fantastic. 5 stars all the way. I highly recommend.

I'm not sure why they have such a high rating. Extremely disappointed, went in to get a regular eye exam done because my primary told to get my eyes looked after after I complained about migraines. I told citrus vision this when I made the appointment. I went For my appointment, the girl that gave me the eye exam was super friendly and this is not a review for her. This review is for Dr. Cook who after wasting an hour of my time didn't even have the decency to come to tell me himself that he wasn't going to bother to come look at my eye. When the nurse came to tell me I believe her name was Brenda not entirely sure, but she made it seem like they seen somthing wrong with my eyes, but no one would tell me which is wrong, they then told me to see some one else. Then proceeded to tell me they weren't going to charge me. Well of course I wasn't going to pay, I wasn't even seen by the doctor. After waiting 3 weeks for my other appointment, my eyes are fine. Thanks for causing me to be worried.
