Glo Tanning, St. Petersburg FL

I came in simply to get a tan in advance of a photo shoot I had coming up, and was surprised to find they offer a spa like experience! Everything from red light therapy to sweat and detoxification beds that also open your pores for the tanning services, so it truly felt all in one. Definitely ended up spending way more money than I initially expected, but honestly, the monthly membership to have access to all of these services is a really great deal and I plan on utilizing it quite a bit throughout the month. I also loved that they offer tan in a day, where you go through three of their services to prime your skin and pores for the tanning bed, and then you get in a state of the art tanning bed, where I didn’t burn it all, and then a spray tan.

They are really great at helping you find the right level of tanning bed and spray tan to get the exact look you are seeking.

You also get a robe to wear throughout the place as you go from service to service, so my first day I ended up spending an hour and a half there for an unexpected and much-needed spa day! I left, feeling so relaxed and refreshed.

Highly recommend this place, it’s far more than just a tanning salon!

This salon offers a variety of UV, spray tanning, and spa options. The waiting area is comfortable and stylish. The salon maintains high hygiene standards, which is reassuring.

Love this place! Girls are all super nice, clean space & love all the different options of services they offer! My fave is the steam pod!

Deceptive advertising.says free service. Had we been allowed to tan with what brought us in, i would’ve signed up for everything.girl a the counter would not honor promotion on website & said this is the way the company does business and continually pushed sign ups.made us waste 30 minutes and got all of our info but wouldn’t allow us to use the coupon.would give 0 stars if i could…go anywhere else where they are honest.update: customer service called and honored the coupon.

I highly recommend Glo. I can’t think of anything that could have made my experience better. Karstyn greeted me immediately. Explained a variety of services related to my interests. Friendly. Clean facility. Cost was appropriate. My visit went smoothly and I left very satisfied. Don’t need to go elsewhere…Glo was perfect.

Raya and Caroline were amazing! I signed up for the membership and love my first sessions there. Can’t wait to go back!

The staff are really nice but ALL of the beds are mostly bronzing beds and minimum red, which means I don’t get a real tan at all, it usually browns the lotion on your skin and than washes off shortly after maybe a day or two. They have no level 2 or 3 beds, I can appreciate the spa services but as far as tanning other than spray and level 4&5 all bronze and red light therapy, you won’t build a long lasting tan here. It’s all a fake tan, no real skin tanning beds here. Southbeach still has the authentic REAL tanning beds without all the worthless and extra FLUFF. Thank god

Wow! I’m so excited to find this place. The UV stand up bed is amazing and the red light therapy is one of the best gifts that we can give ourselves. I’m new to the area so walking to the salon is a bonus. The staff is lovely.

After a solid year of being a client I pulled my membership due to the following reasons.
-Equipment being down for WEEKS (skin wellness)
-changing of staff regularly
-prior management leaving
-called corp to ask about bed being down for so long-they promised me a call back (instead received a text message asking about my spray tan HAVE NEVER EVER DONE SPRAY TAN
I called corp to speak to someone about this, NO CALL BACK AS PROMISED
I asked the staff at location to have the manager call me NO CALL NOTHING

Great location-staff is friendly just not constant-loved the options of services. TERRIBLE customer service, lack of caring on the owners part, feel like I was nothing more than a month fee, VERY DISAPPOINTED.
Would give no stars if possible

Caroline is so friendly and helpful! She had a smile on her face the second we walked through the door walked us through the whole process and answered all of our questions so thoroughly. I’m very satisfied with the service i received today not to mention the extensive amenities.

It’s been a while since I’ve felt pretty/pampered. Working 3 jobs and going to school really drains the life out of ya, but after going here and being greeted by such amazing and nice people I felt amazing again. The hydro bed and the sauna and the tanning we’re so amazing and relaxing, they even set the lights to my fav colour. I cannot thank this place enough

AWESOME! MY 1st time there and they were all wonderful. Took.the time to show me around, explain what was available and the benefits.
Clean, professional and I cant wait to go back!
