Glover Shelley C MD reviews
12Let me first tell you that I used to absolutely love this office. Dr. Glover performed a life-saving surgery on me, and I had loved her ever since. This office used to be clean, professional, and inviting, and I used to rave about Dr. Glover’s office. That being said, the past couple of years and maybe a few years have not been great in this office. One of the worst things for me, is that Dr. Glover no longer takes regular gynecology patients, and only deals with hormones. This means that you get passed off to her other doctor, which is not a pleasant experience. Also, like others have mentioned, it is absolutely impossible to get through on the phone 90% of the time. You can send an email, but that’s even hit or miss whether you get a response. I think Dr. Glover is ready to retire, and that seems to be the general vibe of this place anymore. Everyone in this office seems like they just don’t want to work anymore.
To put my entire experience at this office in to concise words and without disclosing medical information for a review is impossible. To start: they will not answer the phone or call back after voicemails. This makes reaching them to schedule appointments or ask about billing difficult. I had to go in person to get answers. One visit turned into several unnecessary follow ups, bloodwork referrals, and video appointment, half of which where completey unproductive. Just for a single issue where the nurse in my initial appointment said would only require one office visit to fix. Really, it feels like they just want to get a copay out of you. My family has found a new gynecologist after years of feeling let down by their individual experiences with Glover. This office seems to take priority in cosmetics, rather than medical care. I had no issues with the staff and everyone was very kind, I understand they do their best with the resources they have, however, Dr. Glover was quite unprofessional during a couple visits that left me feeling uncomfortable and embarrassed. A few friends have mentioned their negative experiences with Glover as well, all having to move to different practices as a result. Overall, highly do not recommend.
I took my teenager daughter in for an appointment to see Lena and she was amazing! Lena gave up her lunch break to talk with my daughter to help ease her anxieties.
I have called this office at least 5 times, left messages, and emailed over the course of several months and I have never received a response back.
The doctors I’ve had are amazing, always kind and informative. But unfortunately due to the front staff I won’t be returning they are so mean and unhelpful. It’s a shame cuz I really loved the doctors here.
The staff was professional and efficient. Lena Holton ANRP was exceptional thorough and always pleasant. I would recommend her any day!
I had a facial today with Taylor. She is beyond amazing! She was very open to explaining everything she was doing and answered my questions throughly. I would highly recommend her and any service she offers.
Let me first say that I have been in and out of a lot of doctors offices since 2019 for care after going through septic shock. So this review is my honest opinion of my first impression. Dr. Glover was an excellent listener. She is very honest and thorough. She didn’t treat me like I was just another patient on a factory conveyor belt. She took her time to explain every suggestion for my health. I felt like I was speaking to my sister who happens to be a medical doctor. In other words she created a space of safety, value, freedom, and openness in ways that most doctors do not. Nothing felt like a mandate. She gave me a choice and I was clear and not confused about the choices I would make. I am a satisfied new patient.
Always have a very difficult time reaching someone in the office over the telephone. I called and called, left messages over phone and online until I finally gave up. I had to once reach out to the NP on Instagram in order to get some sort of communication. Labs results aren’t reviewed until over 2 months later. Once you actually get to see Dr. Glover she’s great, but getting to her is a arduous process.
I have called this office 4 times to get a prescription refill. I have left multiple messages for nurse practitioner (who was unprofessional) and have explained that it is an urgent matter. They do Not Care!
Beautiful office, welcoming staff, so many things offered. I went for a yearly checkup and Lena was very kind and had a lot of knowledge.
SIMPLY THE WORST
I have never dealt with any business or doctors office with poorer communication and follow through than this office. Where do I start? Though, Dr. Glover and her nurse practitioner seem fine in their expertise, reaching them or anyone in their office or receiving follow up on ones medical care is rare at most. I have left multiple messages for a variety of things and have yet to be called back months later.
After setting up a tele conference appointment, I received a text from the office that the doctor would be with me momentarily. It was an hour later that the doctor finally contacted me. Within that hour I tried contacting the office 5 times to make sure I was doing everything correctly. Nothing. When I mentioned this to the doctor she got back to me telling me I was calling the wrong number. The number she gave me was the exact number I had been trying over and over. During that appointment, she told me I would receive a blood lab script which months later I have still not received after calling and leaving multiple messages. She did, however, send in a prescription to a holistic pharmacy for me (a week later). I had no way of knowing this other than I received a text message from the portal telling I needed to pick up the prescription an hour away from where I lived. I went out of my way to do so even through it was incredibly inconvenient. When I tried to reach the office to confirm this I got no response I drove an hour out of my way even though I had a sick child at home and was leaving a few hours later for a flight. When I got there they informed me that it was being delivered to my home. I was furious. Still no call back or apology. But I did receive a bill. The portal states I have zero balance so I tried calling to pay the office. Of course I got a voice mail message that hung up on me twice when all I wanted to do was pay them my copay and get a prescription refill. Trying to reach this office and receive medical care here is clearly a waste of time and emotion. Simply the worst.
