Lovely beach which was well used on the day we visited. Excellent for everybody. Hurricane Nicole has eaten away at the dunes but still a wonderful way to pass a few hours.

Seems to be the only beach open at the moment, the hurricane took most of the beaches out. But there's still enough room for quite a few people here.

Amazing beach almost. I hear it’s one of the best ones in the Florida Sebastian area. Mostly on a hill till the water not much room to set up but the walk to the ocean was really nice. With a knee high dip then ankle high waters that slowly come up as you walk in. You would basically walk the entire beach in the water. Not to salty in this area but tons of sea weed

Fantastic beach access!
It has quite a few parking spots, bathroom and outdoor shower facilities as needed, handicap accessible, active observant lifeguards, never seems to be overcrowded (then again we normally go to the beach during the week, I'm not certain about the weekends).
I highly recommend this beach.

BEAUTIFUL and quiet beach. It costs $2 to park but it's money well spend just for the shower alone. The park was super clean as I only found 2 gum wrappers on a ½ mile stretch. I saw maybe 5 people for the hour I was there on a late Saturday afternoon. The bathroom is a typical run down facility, but it was well stocked and as clean as an older place can be. I definitely recommend this park for a perfect day in the water.

On July 24 Sunday 12: 00 PM I went out in the ocean. I was having a real hard time Keeping my head above water I watch two life guards talking in there stand I kept going under two gentlemen notice me having a hard time with Rip tides. Thanks God there were near by me there help me get out of the ocean. Then I was out of breath they help to a chair. I have a disability multiple sclerosis. Finally after I rested I went and ask the Life Guard and said did you see me having a Difficulty time. Yes we saw you. You didn’t look like you was having a hard time. I said when two people one in the water and one running from the ocean to rescue me. And you both stood there and did nothing. I said do you work for the county. They both said yes. I ask them for there Names they both refuse to give me there names. In which the Public people is paying their salary. They both had very bad Attitude servicing the public this was at Golden sands Park. I would not recommend coming to Golden Sands Park. I will be sending a message to the county about what happen. After we got home My wife had a big red mark on her leg I ask her what happen
She said there was A very low spot in the sand and She had a very bad fall. I said did one of the lifeguard come down and help you she said no I said there was a bad low spot She said yes. I said to them about the low spot. I ask her what did they said. He said they would look at it later I said you have to be Kidding 3 hours later it was still not taking care of. How can they have incompetent. Life guards that cannot do their job helping people when needed. A follow up supervisor Jonathan return my phone call and talk to me all about it he was an excellent person. And assured me the Two lifeguards will be talk to about this problem. Thanks Jonathan for your help.

We always enjoy this beach park! There is a lifeguard on duty as well as a sign posted daily to warn swimmers about daily beach conditions (like rip current, temp, high/low tide), showers to rinse off sand, restroom facilities and a very nice ramp/walkway allowing access to the beach. It is a clean beautiful stretch of beach!

This is where we decided to go for the beach. Good amount of parking and more on the secluded side which was great. There's a ramp for anything you need to wheel. There are possibilities of jellyfish and best bet is to where water shoes if you wanna be comfortable when first getting in the water as the sand is rough at the start. There are no dogs allowed at this beach just as a heads up. Great time though and a good beach. It has shower areas right after the ramp for both feet and full body which was fantastic and refreshing after the ocean.

Less intense visitor pressure, has lavs, tables, one of the prime turtle nesting locations on the coast. Good parking, lifeguard monitored.

Great place to head to the beach. Lots of parking, a few picnic tables, bathrooms and freshwater showers available. Guarded beach. It does get busy here though.

Easy parking. Clean. Life guard station was manned. Lots of families there. Nice fresh water showers to rinse off with. Felt like a safe environment, as i went there by myself.

It was beautiful here. My friend and I spent the day relaxing and watching the waves. The park had plenty of parking and was kept clean.

Free parking and restrooms make this a good destination for the beach. I brought my bike and rode the bike lane to Sebastian Inlet State Park. Then changed into swimsuit for the beach. Great day!
