Good Hit Sportfishing, Fort Lauderdale FL

Wonderful experience! Not only did we get what we came for, a shark, but we got two! Nothing made for a better honeymoon than my husband and I catching male and female golden nurse sharks. Capt. Adam was super professional and knowledgeable, he let us get some wonderful pictures and videos of the whole thing.

Wish the fish would have been biting better, and the weather would have worked with us. For the company part it was a good experience. Would hire Mike again.

Two words. Deadliest catch. The captain should have cancelled this trip. The weather was horrible but he obviously just wanted to get paid. The waves were higher than the boat and halfway through we just asked to please go back, and the first thing he said was that we don’t get a refund. He said it twice actually and we legit only said we wanted to go back because we were so uncomfortable. Freezing wet and puking everywhere. Nobody else was in the water and that should have been a red flag from the get go.

Great experience, the crew was really good and did their best to try to get us fish. The only negative I would have is the cigarette smoke on the boat.

This is our second trip with good hit, the first trip with them we went out and and capt mike had us on fish almost immediately and kept us on them for almost the whole trip, ending the day with multiple black fin, a trophy barracuda and another smaller barracuda. On this second trip we went with capt chad and he definitely put the work in, with changing winds and multiple storms the days prior he did everything he could to put us on fish and we ended the day with a big kingfish 2 sharks and had another shark break off at the boat! We enjoy going out with good hit as they always seem to be putting in as much work as they can to get us on the fish even if the conditions aren’t the best for the day.

Just got done with my solo 8hr trip on the The Good Hits 2.0 with Captian Chad and Dyaln. Bit was slow with some crazy east winds and some extremely low current conditions but these two busted there butt trying to find the fish! I couldn't have been more happy with the effort they put in!

Landed 1 Bonito right away in the morning while catching some fresh ballyhoo, learned how to help maintain the kit rigs, and had one sailfish hooked up until it broke off on the reef!

Next time I'm down, I know where I'm going and with who I'm going with!

Chad and Dylan were hands down the best. They worked really hard to put us in the fish when no one was getting a bite. Mahi mahi and GIANT SAILFISH. Don't sleep on these two and pick someone else or you will be losing before you start.

Mike was amazing and his crew was super helpful and kind. It was my first time and I could not have been happier. Will be back

We went out sight fishing with Capt Mike in the middle of October and all I can say is wow. Me and my buddy booked a private charter and it was one of the coolest fishing experiences we’ve had. Caught 4 nice size Mahi and hooked a sailfish. If you’re considering a trip to Fort Lauderdale this is your guy. Him and his mate worked from start to finish never slowing down. That’s such a problem with charters after you hit some fish. Most will just give up and stop trying. Not these guys, top notch experience. Planning our next trip already.

My group and I had an amazing time with captain Chad. He was very informative on what and why we were doing certain things to catch fish. He worked his tail off and we were able to put some fish in the boat. We’ll definitely use him again if we end up in Fort Lauderdale again.

Captain Chad is an absolute pro. One of the most talented fishermen I have ever seen, coming from a group of people that have spent a lot of time on offshore charters. Boat control skills are unbelievable, and this guy knows how to get on the fish.

Had a great time with Good Hit Sportfishing. Captain Chad was a pleasure to fish with and he put us on some fish. Will definitely book again next time I’m in the area.
